Did you guys test Torghast runs with a tank, healer and 3 dps set up? Seems to me that could be pretty strong, especially when its the same group you run dungeons with.

ao if you die 4 times you can just go in again? so its not a weekly reset ting?
Does anyone know how lockouts work with groups? IE, let's say a toon that has only unlocked layer 1, joins a group and goes straight to clearing layer 4… Does that player now have 1 through 4 unlocked and basically skipped 2 and 3?
This will be a pain to run it in tank spec, like early visions.

Torghast reminds me of Palace of the Dead in Final Fantasy XIV, it is totally random. I wonder if in the future people could use Torghast for leveling like they do Palace of the Dead in FFXIV, probably not.

Blizzard JUST did an interview where they said only 3 layers of torghast will be available at launch, significantly reducing the soul ash you can earn in the first few weeks. The soul ash reward from layer 1 was also reduced to 120 soul ash, from 150, giving you a max weekly soul ash of 570.

We are planning to run Torghast in guild groups. It sounds like a less stressful M+ like activity.
Not gonna spend a single second in Torghast. I don't like it. It's similar boring as Palace of the Dead in FF.
So guys, just to be clear. So you have to do Torghast weekly (not daily). You "need" to clear every wing (two wings in total). Each wing has 3 layers (at the beginning of Shadowlands). But once you collect Soul ash from that layer, you won´t get anymore from completing it again, right? So you need to clear it once and you are done for a week.
6 months from now everyone will be saying " I am so tired of Torghast!"
Absolutely hated that you couldn't "pause" in a vision.

I did Torghast layer 3 of both on my server as a Prot Warrior and I had 0 problems. I was kind of disappointment on the difficulty, but I still had a shit ton of fun climbing.
Thoragst seems nice with friends since there are power ups for groups
I am bummed that the flare tar trap combo doesn't have visual effect.

Enhancement shaman boost are wacky as hell too, it's great. Lay a totem down, get heroism for 15 seconds, can occur every 30 seconds + lay a totem down, and lay another random totem down.
Lemme tell ya…you get any 4 totems and it becomes pretty hard to die. It's honestly fun.

You can repeat the same layer for soul ash. I am happy about this because the higher layers are really hard and I was afraid I would not be able to cap soul ash for week one. I run the same one for 120 each run.
