Argus the final boss of Legion, the tortured world soul titan that we had defeated 2 expansions back, returns back in the Shadowlands in 9.2 Eternity’s End and we actually fight him.

It is all but confirmed that Argus broke the Arbiter which allowed the Jailer to escape, however how is that even possible. Shouldn’t the titans have their own afterlife, how did he reach the Shadowlands and what is the logic behind it?

All of the footage used in the video is copyrighted by Blizzard Entertainment unless stated otherwise. Due to images being shared across various sites it is quite difficult to find who the original artists are. 1. So effectively, the dreadlords and the jailer turned Argus into a big DDoS attack on the computer that is the arbiter??

Fck off Blizzard, thats hella lazy and shitty writing

  2. Does anyone understand this mess? Why did Argus have his soul sent to Shadowlansd, if that realm is only for mortal souls? Naarus do not go to this realm when they die. Demons don't go to this realm when they die. Why does the janitor need to put Argus' soul on trial? He could have done this right after dominating everyone on Oribos, before going to Zereti Mortis. Because now?

  3. There are a few possibilities actually – 1) the Jailer, the evil bad guy, is also a liar. So him claiming he planned it is fallacious boasting. 2) Denathrius played the Jailer. He didn't know who would beat Argus, but he knew sooner or later it would be weakened enough that someone would kill it. Likely an old god (ie – Azeroth was infested with old gods). Also Sargeras himself may grow so wary of Argus that he could destroy it. So in the end, it was a long con on Denathrius' end. He put the Jailer out front as the main villain so all the focus was on him, leaving him essentially free to do as he wished. 3) The Primus is the main bad guy. The guy that created domination magic. The guy who used it against his fellow brethren. The guy who seems to know everything about everything. And his motives could be equally as deceptive as Denathrius (unless they're working together). Primus puts Zovaal out front so that the Primus himself can be lead to Zerith Mortis and essentially escorted by the people who should be trying to stop him. Once he is there, since we trust him so much, he could basically do whatever he wanted. We don't seem to question his motives or actions thus far. If he applied domination magic to the whole of the Shadowlands using Zerith Mortis, he would become stronger than anyone else there. Maybe even able to free to go to the living world

  4. We gonna go back to azeroth and wake up and realize it was all a dream. The eastern kingdoms will all be intact and the orcs will just be invading. Big note from Blizzard support saying sorry y'all

  5. My working theory is that the titans are labeled as “Order” and to be in perfect order there has to be one representative from all the other cosmological forces. Eonar is obviously Life, Argus is definitely Death. Maybe when they die they go to the afterlife assigned to their representative cosmological force?

  6. Argus helps us kill Zovaal and becomes Argus the redeemed. He then goes to Azeroth and removes Sargeras sword, gently kissing her. This kiss awakens Azeroth from the witches evil spell. Her awakening shatters the very planet itself, accidentally killing everyone. She and Argus live happily ever after and have a baby world soul of their own that becomes the setting of WOW 2.0.

  7. I remember playing from 2005 to 2020. I don't really want to think about anything past that when it comes to WoW. The story died a painful death with this entire expansion. There should be no brokers, there should be no city and commerce in the after life. The game is a big TVY 7 joke. The "writers" have destroyed it. This no longer feels like Warcraft, it's bad writing.

  8. There is still i question i never get answered…

WHEN THE FUCK DID SARGERAS ARRIVED AT AZEROTH AND STARTED TO DO THE CLOUD HUG THING HE WAS DOING TO THE PLANET?!?!?!

Was he waiting near Argus? Because still there is no fucking explanation about it and there wasn't in legion by any official non-speculative means.

  9. If you are doing wq in Bastion, you get to send souls back to their plain, so every soul going to shadowlands and the arbiter sending it to it`s rightful plain does make sense, make sure you don`t speculate 😉

  10. What Blizzard should do
    1. Sargeras is manipulating Zovaal. Not the other way around.
    2. The Sylvanas we see right now is a clone. The real Sylvanas was abducted by Nathrezim before the War of Thorns.

  12. After watching the video. BFA and SL should not exist. There is no way that the plans of the Jailer should have come into being and gone prefectly like that. That is why I have stated before, the writers do not know how to write and the last two expansions are worthless.

  13. This is absurd at this point. Jailer is the mastermind, who will once again underestimate us, but with a clear purpose so we could take care of the First Ones for him (sounds familiar?) and then he will appear again with his second masterplan only for it to be thwarted again because the Jailer wasn't that smart after all, he was only being a pawn in a much bigger game. Idiotic, we are only spinning in circles.

  14. Look, trying to piece together the lore we already know to the lore that we DON'T know?
Seeing how there's so much missing information, of course everyone will get confused.
What's the point in trying to fully understand something with such limited information to go on?
But I guess that's just the common nature about curiosity. Leave not a speck of mystery… no fun in that.

  15. The whole shadowlands storyline is like the shitty non canon movie of the warcraft universe. Its got the formula going on.
-entire remaoning cast just conveniently around
-the Macguffin item of ultimate power
-thr poorly shoehorned forgettable villain who has the power of the writing staff to always be +1 over the cast.
-everyone wants their money back after its over.

  16. You have all the INFO (from outside the game) and you don't understand what is what YET you say that these characters should have known this was coming 30 000 years ago… If you don't know half the shit you think you know, how do you expect them to know more than you who's got access to meta-gaming information????

  17. Holy fucking shit the lore has completely gone off the rails. Poor Argus. Also how the fuck do we defeat him?! The only reason we did originally is because the Titans intervened and saved our asses. There isn't any Titans this time, so Argus should just easily be able to unmake all players. Also, Steve Danuser fucking sucks.
