So World of Warcraft: Shadowlands was recently announced and this brought a lot of questions and misconceptions. In this video I do my best to explain all the information that is currently available.
Talking about what are the Shadowlands, how the shadowlands were created and how all of this works in the lore. I also cover the 5 specific realms (The maw, Ardenweald, Bastion,Maldraxxus and Revendreth) as well as the city of Oribos and the Arbiter.
Finally I talk about the Jailer who he is and the plans of Sylvanas and how I see the story progression in WoW Shadowlands.

Hey doron 🙂 its me miniprs again i have a Q&A for you that you might have alot of fun with so if time travel (lore wise through the bronze dragonflight) exists and so does resurrection (not lore wise through player ressurection)
Even tho i dont think any characters in lore have been brought back to actual life excluding the raised from the lich king/undead, so does that mean we might see the ressurection of past villains like old gods (provided if magic was strong enough) arthas, etc etc or could we go back in time and see the black empire where all the old gods are in power and azeroth is unordered so primordial azeroth!!!! Do you think that would happen to fix the shadowlands fracture by bringing back arthas to reseal the barrier between azeroth and the shadowlands OR could we go back in time and prevent sylvannas from destroying the helm? I think the arthas one would be the most unlikely scenario since a fully powered arthas/lich king with frostmourne would just turn against us and try to take over so basically im sorry for this long paragraph but do you time travel will be used to fix the barrier or will we force an extremely powerful foe or force to fix the barrier? (Old gods for example)
I think arthas will play a huge role in shadowlands and i think bolvar will lead us to him cause i have a feeling arthas knew alot more about the jailer then even sylvannas does since HE WAS THE LICH KING and had direct connection to the shadowlands
In an interview it was revealed that the Shadowlands is where all mortal souls go when they die. And Ion said that it predates history, including the Titans.
It was confirmed that Sylvanas started to work with The Jailer after she killed herself by jumping off of Icecrown Citadel, the time of the short story "Edge of Night" is when she met The Jailer and started on her new path.

Kinda hope we fail in the Shadowlands and there is another cataclysm that Blizzard uses as the opportunity to launch a new graphics engine. Overhaul everything and start fresh.

Devil (jailer) was like "yo, you bad, eternal suffering for you", she gets yoinked back to life by Valks, dies and meets the devil again, goes "Yo, you let me stay outta this place and I'll murder thousands and send them directly here, deal" and then goes full Garrosh.
