  1. I'm a FF14 player at heart but I've dabbled with WoW over the years and the fact that Blizzard has to release content around other MMOs really speaks to how far they have fallen. It's really sad to me, wow should be dominating.

  2. It's a real shame. I loved playing the free trial of wow and still do but these decisions that the higher ups are making is just sad. They seriously need a change in management if blizzard is to survive.

  3. Diablo 3 is dead and Diablo 4 will come out who knows when. Overwatch is "frozen in time" until OW2 and who knows when that will come out. HotS is dead. Starcrat is dead. They are taking 7 months to release the FIRST patch of Shadowlands, and everyone is criticizing that expansion (that should have been the best thing ever to take people back after the BfA fiasco). Blizzard is basically dead, or at least is on that way

  4. Speaking of Anduin. What are your opinion on the story about Arthas and he's father? Im talking about what if Anduin takes the throne in Undercity for himself and removing that poison gas after shadowlands. If he remain as he is now, corrupt or dk or whatever he is now. and free from Jailors control. ??

  5. 9.1 won’t get me to resub, they won’t have a .5 by new world and there is no way they will pack in a bigger .2 by November … I bet there cutting back 9.1 to get out by summer, I moved to FF14 and I’ll also be playing PSO2NG

  6. Nail on the head with regards to Blizz sucking on PR.

However… I might be one of the few that is quite happy with Endwalker, D2:RE and 9.1/9.2. That's my gaming sorted for the year as I'll enjoy three. Guess might be one of those things from an older MMO player (I.e. pre-WoW) that having those options is great.

  7. The thing is that they are already massively late and apparentely bleeding staff… I dont belive the can catch up even if they really wanted. They will have to cut one patch or delay the next exp for about 6 months.

  8. Honestly, I think Blizz would do better by going for the old warframe model of doing small up dates every month. Not just talking about numerical changes but like, "First week, new weapon with X effect. Second week, new class cosmetic thing, third week, New story up date in this old dungeon."

And screw all you people that complain about recycling content. I want to see a world that grows and changes and sence Blizzard wont give players agency, they have to do it themselves.

  9. Meh, gave PoE a solid shot (i.e. about 100 hours), and it's just not fun. It's just so slow, grindy, and boring (gameplay loop, not the story) for almost no reward. Though, I absolutely commend the devs for putting out that much content for free – and truly free, not "free" with a bunch of hidden gotcha mechanics. And its writing absolutely crushes D3.

  10. The thing I wonder is if Blizzard will stick to the .5 patches that were present in Battle for Azeroth and have a 9.1.5 or just decide to move forward and have 9.2.

  11. If I see a sprout in Endwalker zones that will be an instant blacklist. Not only are you a fresh WoW refugee but you skipped Heavensward and Shadowbringers? You can play with the other plebs.

  12. Please stop shoving final fantasy down our throats. This is a wow channel, if you want to talk about final fantasy make a final fantasy channel. I’ve tried it and it initially seems okay but end game is super bad and you basically quit out of pure boredom, there’s your tldr

  13. The other side of the Endwalker argument is Blizz may want to deliberately avoid the Endwalker time frame and give it two to three months before launching 9.2 to reel back in any players who went to try FF. That puts 9.2 right on the 8-9 month patch cycle, and that means 10.0 will be right on schedule for Nov/Dec 2022.

  14. The issue is that Blizzard always seems to be in a lull. I went back to Shadowlands but quit after like a month, due to the grind. I have been on FF14 since 2.0 and decide to give WoW a chance and just lost all sense of fun for me. I love Blizzards lore but it is not enough to keep me playing.

  15. I'm not waiting around this time. I don't care if Zovaal wins and destroys Azeroth, or if Sylvanas really is being a triple-agent, or if Murozond comes back and plans to undo time which results in an Endgame-style fight which ends with Azeroth waking up into a Titan state.

Screw WoW! It's just how I feel now.

  16. Yeah, sure 9.2 is doable…if its another return to Icecrown assault by the Jailer; this rings a bell, oh right an 8.3 reuse of old zones; otherwise, don't expect 9.2 in six months after 9.1 release. I believe Ion mentioned is a major patch of lore and all. I predict Blizzcon 2022 will reveal 9.2 patch drop and maybe next expac and what does that mean for a 9.3 ever happening.

  17. I think make this the final expansion and begin development on a new project. FFXIV is already huge and with the new Riot MMO and Ashes of Creation on the horizon I can only see the sub numbers getting lower.
