  1. They should come up with a way to put the whole of Shadowlands in a box. Characterize it as something more like purgatory, or the "vampire diaries" version of the other side, like a phase, a pocket dimension that isn't like the capital-A Afterlife. Depends on how much they are willing to screw with their own cosmology, but maybe the First Ones hijacked the engine of death, like to reclaim the material of creation as anima compost?

  2. Shadowlands will be addressed 3 expansions down the road when we find out that we actually didn't kill N'zoth in BfA and that SL was a bad nightmare that he was having . It is discovered that SL drove N'zoth to the level of insanity that he drove Neltharion/Deathwing to and we get a proper old god expansion . Also his surviving will explain the reasoning behind the Infinite Dragon flight in Dragon Flight and Nozdormu turning into Moruzond.

  3. [Disclaimer]: No Hate, I love this channel and the people involved with it. This is a critical rant, not a hateful attack on anyone.

Can you PLEASE stop giving us 'Clips' of Bellular meandering around leveling content during a livestream, barely forming a full sentence before gameplay completely derails it? What's the point of a video where it's just him jumping from one topic to the next without lingering on anything long enough to properly make a point?

I get that it's harder to make Clips content out of this kind of livestream and that you really want to keep up with the algorithm but this is getting dire.

Since DF Alpha dropped I've been getting increasingly hesitant about watching this channel's content because it's hard to tell if I'll get the usual qualitative discussion content or if it'll be yet another 5-15 minutes of inconsistent bits of train of thought, 90% of which is utterly unrelated to the topic advertised by the title.

I'm not saying every Clip needs to be a researched and fascinating dive into human psychology and its relationship to video games, or a spicy but accurate take down of Blizzard's flawed vision of the game. But there's a middle ground between the former and 5-15mins of nothing that is too disjointed and aimless to be worth listening to in the background and too uneventful to be worth watching (as an out-of-context snippet of an otherwise perfectly fine hours-long livestream.)

These uploads really feel like someone thought I'd be interested in watching my own ADHD thought-process from the outside. No thanks.

  4. I want nothing more than N'zoth to whisper to me and reveal an Uno Reverse card.

Everything that came in SL was all trivial and insignificant, and above all, highly disrespectful to Warcraft fans.

  5. No and Honestly what would have changed if they did? Like some expansions before as to the story. It's a Pandora Box you can't put back in the Box. If there's any Solace to Shadowlands is that at least for those that's Dead or going to be we all will know there Deaths will Live on Peacefully and more. Vs the Unknown Emptiness Of Death. But there's nothing Much that Can Be Done.

  6. Blizz never address problems lol. No. No new talent rows for several xpacs because it too hard and everything goes away. They addressed harassment by replacing busty women with fruit and replacing male and female with type 1 and 2. Nah, they don't care.

  7. They need to erase Shadowlands! They did Arthas dirty! They lied about not involving him unless there was a huge pay off that respects the character. They've failed on all fronts!

If I were them, I'd use the bronze dragons time ways to undo the crap that made no sense and fix what Shadowlands broke or something.

  8. I do hope they do address it. It can be done. However it would have needed to be done in dragon flight in the first patch revealing nzoth wasn't defeated and shadowlands was a vision. Now I have no problem with going to shadowlands and making sure it works properly however we should be freeing death so it doesn't have a machine that sends them to different after lives. The shadowlands also isn't the realm of death. It is like the emerald dream. The emerald dream isn't in the realm of life but it is connected to it. Maybe when you die in shadowlands you do end up in the real realm of death. I think it is stupid we went their and decided to keep the machine of death going knowing full well you might not end up in same afterlife as your loved ones. We should have gotten rid of the arbiter and created a new person who looks over the maw and make the shadowlands what it once was… connected.

Anything else besides a nzoth vision would not make sense. And for once I'd like to lose.

  9. I’m pretty sure Blizzard is treating Shadowlands like Democratic voters are treating Joe Biden.
No apologies, no responsibility – just “pretend like it didn’t happen”.

  10. I would 1million% opt for a terribly executed and jarring retcon of it all to be honest. Nothing they do to try and get rid of Shadowlands will be a remotely as bad as the expansion itself. Pull some hasty reason out of your ass and make it all go away Blizzard, because you can’t possibly make it any worse.

The only thing about the Shadowlands that has helped me retain my sanity for this long is the fact that what we saw there was a tiny fraction of an infinite number of afterlives.

I choose to believe that The First Ones, Oribos, the Arbiter, the Covenants, the Maw, Zereth Mortis and all that garbage was all just a really dumb, tiny pocket realm that is totally unique in its awfulness. Like a hermit kingdom that has decayed after decades of isolation and inbreeding amongst the royalty.

The rest of it I choose to believe is a normal fantasy afterlife setting WITHOUT FUCKING ROBOTS that is completely disconnected from all the trash we played through.

For the love of god, just retcon it all.

  11. Well, if I remember correctly the shadowlands were suppose to be a mirror of the emerald dream, ie emerald dream:life::shadowlands::death, but before that the twisting nether is where souls went. You once mentioned maybe Order had won and reorganized things, so what if they wanted to repurpose that energy?

  12. I just want to know who controls Icecrown now and all of the undead there now that the Lich King is no more and Bolvar is just a mere Highlord of the Ebon Blade? Guess the whole ''There must always be a Lich King'' will never be addressed. On that note, how does Icecrown look almost the same as Thorghast? These are just a few points. But overall, Shadowlands screwed up the whole lore of the game so much to a point where it would be best to just ignore it, it never happen. It was all just a dream…

  13. It's actually really easy to address shadowlands. Those four main zones are where very special people wind up. Everyone else, the majority of souls, gets sorted to one of infinite afterlives of which we know nothing. And that's assuming they even make it to the shadowlands, I suspect plenty of people just don't, hence ghosts.
