It’s been a little over a month since the release of shadowlands and now that the hype is dying off will the game survive? Shadowlands has changed how the loot system works and overall due to that there is a drastic ripple effect throughout the game. Along with that I’m covering other avenues such as PVP, and Battlegrounds, Dungeons and Mythic Plus, Raids and World Quests.
Will Shadowlands succeed or will players continue to quit and as TBC releases everyone will jump the wagon to play The Burning Crusade?

  1. I like that there is less WQs but the rewards are meh like weapon world quest should be according to your spec like i get intellet offhands when am a feral druid OFFHands like wtf at least a staff but no offhands

  3. I agree with most of what you are saying, even when I got like 6 options in the vault, I got 5 cloaks, that are lower ilvl that the cloak I got in the first week !! Mythic+ are soo much waste of time, did 10 the first 2 weeks with little to none loot, but now down to 4 , I just cant be bothered, the tower is getting like a shore thing every week, and the WQs are nearly worthless 🙁 luckily I like raiding with the guild, but would wish they fixed the loot drops so it would at least be worth it, got a few alts to 60 but they are just waiting for a change, not doing anything with them until I get a catchup mechanic on the maw and the tower, not doing that on every alt from scratch 🙂 lets hope they fix this before everyone leaves for some other game that is more fun, honestly doing dungeons all day for nothing, isnt much fun !!

  4. TBC won't be as popular as how classic hit us. I hate classic and think TBC is the best expansion ever but I think the players from classic/private servers are going to be surprised at how much people stick with retail this time around. I personally will be playing both, but by the time TBC comes around the lack of gear issue casuals are having in retail won't be a issue anymore.
    BTW this is still the most alt friendly expansion in forever, all you have to do is torgash on ur alt. Twice a week, that's all. Once your alt reaches 8 thats all it is. And even then, certain specs IE MM hunters that they even care about so you just upgrade that and chill. Do 4-5 keys for the vault and just causally play and you will get there. Hell you can easily get a fresh alt pretty caught up for Heroic Castle for tuesday with just some long but easy grinding.

  7. I've started to try to plan out the week.
    1. World boss
    2. Torghast
    3. Push key, 10 mythics for vault
    4. Castle nath with {the bread factory}
    5. Maybe a world quest while waiting for dungeon

    Yeah I don't plan on playing old wow . It's like me picking up a Nintendo and playing super mario. It's only cool for a couple hours, been there done that.

    Shadowlands has been great. Just perfect, not to much but not too little. I can't wait for it to be over though so I may return back to real life.
