Hi everyone – just a quick jump into World of Warcraft on my Apple M1 Macbook Air (Apple M1 (2020) Chip with 8-core CPU, 7-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine) and playing World of Warcraft at 2560×1600 and 1920×1080 resolutions on Ultra and High Settings.
Overall, I was impressed!

LOL. Maybe you test performance in open world?)
How are the thermals? Do you see any cpu performance decreasing after some time?
If you are willing to donate this laptop to me let me know. I would love this laptop to get me back into gaming! Just hmu
1080p on setting 5 is still great for 13” screen, it looks good and plays on 55-60fps out in the open world.
Is this with 8 GB RAM?
How does this m1 performs when compared to didicated gpu (like 1050ti, rx560x etc)
I'm playing on 2560×1600 (overall settings 4) on my M1 Air, on constant 58-60 fps in any town etc.. very impressive! But the heat is an issue.. its get REALLY warm (because of no fan) so I don't feel comfortable playing very long. Anyone know if this could damage my Macbook Air?
Thanks for helping me make my decision to buy the Macbook Air M1!
Can you test this again with the thermal fix ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1KZuVqodak
Not good for me i want POWER at Lower price…
I remember I had to play on 1080p low settings (2/10 if I remember correctly) if I wanted to get 30fps on my intel i3 MacBook Air, and that was back for Battle for Azeroth. It doesn’t even run Shadowlands, much less get anywhere near 40-60fps. Hell of an upgrade.
imagine paying for it if u are a gamer
