The M1 processors from Apple took the laptop world by storm, promising high performance from a low-powered ARM-based chip, as well as the bonuses that come with it – long battery life, sleek design, and better connectivity. While Apple products are neither budget nor gaming-oriented, the $1250 M1 Air is currently the most affordable Apple laptop on the market with the full M1 processor. So, does the M1 deliver on its promise? Well… sort of.

Frame rate might not be the one that you experience since we are recording directly on the machine and not capture it separately, so you might experience a 3-5 fps improvement.

Hello , Try hard macbook
Woh, also test csgo on the mac air please
Dota 2 also please 😁
World of Warcraft running natively on the Apple M1.
Correction: the RAM clock speed is 4266 MHz, not 3200 Mhz.
what is the program at the end of the video?
This is World of Warcraft: Shadowlands released in 2020. Your information on the bottom left is wrong. Original WoW from 2004 didn't even have dynamic shadows, sun shafts, SSAO, water reflections, or plethora graphic effects that were added since 2004. What I'm trying to say it's impressive how well tiny Macbook Air runs a game from 2020.
And what's is battery life, runtime playing wow ? How many hours?
I didn't even watch the whole thing, but the only issue I have is you are not proving you are really on m1 mac. That said there are other support videos that show wow can run on m1. I think you should of done 3rd person perspective the person being the mac. Show on and version of about Mac then launch the game and so on.
also typically you'd have to really drop that resolution down unless you had a 15/16inch with gpu
Спасибо!
The thermal trhottleing kills it :/
Not impressed at all. Alienware can run everything ultra high settings and 100fps
Awesome that someone took their time uploading a video like this! Would love to see another video on how it performs in Shadowlands at mid settings, instead of the tutorial island at high settings. 🙂 My wife wants to get this MacBook at some point and would love to play WoW on it in it's newest expansion. 😊
I think this video is lies! I have the same MacBook and it won’t exceed 60 fps
Did you try it in an instance? I am thinking on its stats. 8 to 16gb ram 256gb drive if m2 chip how the performance would be on 8core?
Great seems like it works well. Love Macs and didnt want to buy a pc just to play wow
Sir, for future benchmarks of wow. Do them in current expansion (can be done with trial character), and preferably in raid environment. As old content as in starting zones have old graphics which will run flawlessly on basically any computer. It gets ridiculously different in current content.
You can easily cap 60 constant by lowering render scaling, i guess this is a benchmark besed on native res though. Thanks for vid
