The M1 processors from Apple took the laptop world by storm, promising high performance from a low-powered ARM-based chip, as well as the bonuses that come with it – long battery life, sleek design, and better connectivity. While Apple products are neither budget nor gaming-oriented, the $1250 M1 Air is currently the most affordable Apple laptop on the market with the full M1 processor. So, does the M1 deliver on its promise? Well… sort of.

  1. This is World of Warcraft: Shadowlands released in 2020. Your information on the bottom left is wrong. Original WoW from 2004 didn't even have dynamic shadows, sun shafts, SSAO, water reflections, or plethora graphic effects that were added since 2004. What I'm trying to say it's impressive how well tiny Macbook Air runs a game from 2020.

  2. I didn't even watch the whole thing, but the only issue I have is you are not proving you are really on m1 mac. That said there are other support videos that show wow can run on m1. I think you should of done 3rd person perspective the person being the mac. Show on and version of about Mac then launch the game and so on.

  3. Awesome that someone took their time uploading a video like this! Would love to see another video on how it performs in Shadowlands at mid settings, instead of the tutorial island at high settings. 🙂 My wife wants to get this MacBook at some point and would love to play WoW on it in it's newest expansion. 😊

  4. Sir, for future benchmarks of wow. Do them in current expansion (can be done with trial character), and preferably in raid environment. As old content as in starting zones have old graphics which will run flawlessly on basically any computer. It gets ridiculously different in current content.
