World of Warcraft Dragonflight – How to Obtain Artisans Mettle

Today i would like to show you ways on how to obtain artisans mettle. But first off: What is artisans mettle – Its a soulbound crafting reagent used in almost anything thats related to crafting and professions.

One thing that makes artisans mettle special is the fact that the ways to obtain these are very limited.

First of: You obtain artisans mettle whenever you obtain knowledge points.

So with every first craft of a item in your profession you obtain one knowledge point as well as a variety of artisans mettle depending on the recipes difficulty.

The second way of obtaining artisans mettle is collecting and turning in dragon shards of knowledge at this very npc here located at 51.8 33.0 in the Ohn ahran plains. You can obtain these dragon shards rarely from expeditionpacks or dirt piles and treasures in the open world. To be able to obtain dragon shards you have to have the master of their craft questline completed.

The third way is by finding the legendary treasures specific to your profession. These reward 3 Knowledge points each as well as some artisan mettle. I will link a wowhead page in the description so you can check out your corresponding professions treasures. However make sure to have at least 25 skill in your profession so you can see and interact with these treasures.

The fourth way is by far the easiest. Just complete the short quest chain of Thomas Bright in Valdrakken and he will give you a weekly quest that you can simply turn in and get lots of artisan mettle for free. I noticed that the amount you get depends on your reputation with the Artisans Consortium.
