"asmongold bought 5 of them, its part of his redemption arc" 🤣
Next up a $120 mount
6:38 I am the kryptonite of free to play games. I played League of legends for 8 years and spent 10 dollars on a single skin 😂
I spent 10k on coke over a summer before i quit it for good, now i just blow money on pixels
guy does exclusive gameplay videos now?
"Hey look I ve got the 90 Dollar Skin now."
"Cool."
" HELLO LOOK AT IT GODDAMN DONT YOU SEE IT ? I HAVE THE ROLEX OF WoW!!!!"
"Ok cool."
"IM TALKING TO YOU AND TELLING YOU I AM COOL !"
Thats the vibe I get when a WoW player tries to show off xD
to be fair if you make gold in wow you can turn that in game currency into blizzard store balance and the buy anything on the sore >>> the 90 dollar mount. I and many others have done it. though id never spend 90 bucks on it actually. Its also special in that it has a auction house and a mailbox on it. not that it justifies the price.
This is the hyprocrisy that is so very prominent today. Go to social media and complain about it, then buy it anyway.
My issue isn't with the mount itself, it's the fact that they ship this and a glitchy, almost souless mess of a patch that's supposed to "celebrate" the 20th anniversary of WoW. It's supposed to be a HUGE milestone for the game and they just made it into another chore check list that's opaque on all of the ways to get the currency for the in-game stuff.
If they put more time and effort into the in-game content like they do their cash-grab products, I'd be less disappointed.
Spending more money than a AAA game on a F2P game is fair imo. It depends on how you approach it.
If I have a F2P game, my rule is: anywhere between 20-40€ per 100h of fun. If I like the game, and I spent over 100h playing on their servers, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to spend that money. But the pricing still needs to be reasonable. If you ask 40-60€ for a mere skin, even if I played 300h of it, it still needs to make sense.
A 90$ mount? You know how much weed I can get for 90$?
I don’t understand how people like you don’t understand, those complaining about shit like this are not the ones buying it.
Star Citizen laughs. You have to pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers.
RDR2 is on a steam sale right now too, so you could buy it three times for the same price as this skin
I spent more than that on drinks last night and I can literally only remember some of it
Man, remember when we used to play games to escape into a world where our broke asses could be the ones with the coolest gear.
Now we have to be broke in game too. Feelsbadman
Gamers are a well oiled money making machine
Lego you build and enjoy, skins you buy and that's it , you'll forget it exist as purchased content after a while
You'll never forget a physical purchase cost
skins in BDO are like 50 cad, and underwear is 30. sadly a 90 dollar wow mount doesnt shock me. The people playing these games are to far gone.
The difference between a warhammer figure and this mount is that this is a digital product. They don't need resources to create each one. They create it once and then copy/paste it. Also, when the game costs $60 and then a mount that is only a miniscule portion of the game costs $90. The value feels off.
i’ve spent so much on League and Valorant and yeah the logic you explained is the same i have. I like supporting Riot and wanting them to use that to develop new things like Arcane and at one point Riot Forge and the Other games. and if it’s through MTX it’s how i justify it. I know it’s stupid but at the same time I play these games so much and don’t feel bad at least for Riot Games
People who buy this kind of stuff are telling the dev teams and publishers "keep doing it because we want this kind of thing in our games". Wrong or right buying it still sends a message.
