The title Says it all.
I realized in the editing how often I was slurring my words. This won’t be happening in future content. Hope you’ll all join in again soon.

crazy recommended vid
Dragonflight made me cringe a lot during questing as dialogs appear to be written by an HR department.
Best recommendation vid of my life omg
If you can accomplish these you’ll have my respect for eternity
To be fair, I was thinking a lot about that too, but I got the same problem as you, life and friends who enjoyed the game at the time didn't have the energy to rewrite the lore and try to make BFA better and actually shadowland. I hope you will do your best and I will follow ! Godspeed !
Keep up the work Guys. I look forward to hearing your ideas in the next video!
This is something my longtime (since vanilla) WoW friends and I discuss too, where it all "went wrong", how we would "fix it", and really more than anything, what worked right. Interested to hear your ideas in comparison to ours. Cheers.
I was randomly suggested this video by the algo and I'm so glad I was. This could be really good and can't wait to see what you do with it.
I was honestly shocked halfway through the vid when I saw the view and sub numbers. This is goood stuff. Very happy this ended up in my recommended. First time ever that I subbed to a new account with one video. I'm very curious to see what you're going to do with this, looking forward to more videos.
Now if you can somehow fix the absolute trashfire that is the story of my Queen, Sylvanas, as it was told pretty much right after the opening cinematic of Shadowlands and onwards. I would be mighty impressed.
how the hell is this only a 41 sub channel. i started the video expecting hundreds of thousands of views, not 367.
I think everyone who has ever had a great interest on the Warcraft story, general lore and setting has probably thought about such a thing as a "Rewritting it to be better", because Blizzard's creative team is frankly FANTASTIC at coming up with *concepts*. Warcraft's ideas and vibes are frankly immaculate in how they manage to do a kitchen sink style fantasy where everything works cohesively, an expansive world where almost everything has a reason, an explanation, a background. In other words, the VIBES of warcraft are amazing: The cultures, the heroics, the grandiosity of it all.
But that's where WoW blunders: Execution. Many story threads are left abandoned, especially due to their focus on "Done & Gone" characters with every expansion (As in, several characters are only relevant for one expansion and then left in the dust) as well as what I call the "Main plot syndrome": In the story of wow frankly far too much stuff happens very back to back (The timeline is very crunched, each expansion is barely a year or two, and jump from W3 to Vanilla is also like 4 years) and also leads to a lot of development happening very quickly while simultaneously not being adressed at all (Think how night elven culture and vibes changed from W3 to Vanilla to Retail, from amazonian savage and noble warriors who defied the burning legion and won TWICE, compared to complete pushovers who get their capital burnt by the Horde in BFA as an example – and just after a massive THIRD legion invasion barely a few months ago!), and essentially the flanderisation and standarisation of the writting (something which affects fantasy as a whole but it's also part of the passage of time – remember how in W3, orcs being relatively noble and most importantnly, people, was a novel concept? Even for warcraft itself, since in W1 and W2 orcs are very clear cut villains! Nowadays "orcs but they're good/normal people" is super common, if not more common than setting where orcs are purely enemies), and of course the fact WoW often offers a dual perspective which can really sour things (MoP and BFA…), all of which is very hard to fix or rather are easy to fix if you do it in theory, rather than in a game in permanent development with the big narrative constraints that entails.
My only attempt, as a long time fan, roleplayer and forever DM, at something similar is a half baked fanfiction of how the Forsaken would be if the struggle of their identity as a people (As in, whether they're still lordaeron, or a new thing born out of their shared condition and hatred of arthas/loyalty to Sylvanas, or both – it's a clash of ideals which would be very interesting to deal) more than they do in game (where frankly forsaken are across the board just terrible sadistic people and any tie they may have to Lordaeron and the people they once were is sidelined/ignored by the writing). It wasn't very good, but I've likewise thought about what I'd change of the writing of different factions and characters, or how some events played out, or how much cooler some races would be if they were allowed to lean more into their original/conceptual characterisations (Like taurens being actually kinda bellicose in W3 even if out of necessity, or the more ragtag aspect of the Horde that was lost overtime in WoW in favour of orcish aesthetic standarisation).
That said: I will follow your project with great interest, because frankly It's something I've thought about a lot myself. Best of luck and stay motivated and/or drunk! Keep on writting!!!!
Omg vials from the whell of Eternity hit diff. That story was craaazy. Felt bigger than life! Listening to it felt like anything could happen. Like we may get to the bottom of "it all"…
Really cool idea!
A random murloc becomes the lich king, but the helmet doesn't change size. He is just stuck under the weight of the helmet forever. Good guys win and Arthas and Uther find some tasty frozen sushi under an epic helmet.
I am looking forward to the next parts.
I have an extreme passion for Warcraft lore so this is VERY exciting. Looking forward to sinking my teeth into your version of the story!
