But now, he did not use them to bring glory to the Lord but to turn God's creations against their Creator. His expertise is seen in the powerful influence he welds today in music. He has profound music ability. He knows his music and he hates the Lord. This is a dangerous combination.
Most who teach this take the description of the King of Tyrus in Ezekiel 28:12-15 to be a description of Satan. He is said there to have been in the Garden of Eden and was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him. That fits none other but the devil. Therefore, the prince of Tyrus mentioned earlier in the chapter would be the earthly ruler of Tyre, while the king of Tyrus would be the devil who rules over the prince of Tyrus. Daniel, chapter ten, also deals with the connection between many earthly rulers and evil spiritual principalities.
Therefore, taking this to be Satan, Ezekiel 28:13 has a phrase that is very interesting: "the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created." That is, he was created with tabrets and pipes built in him. What would this refer to? Tabrets (spelled taborets in modern English) are small drums like those used to beat out timing for a fife player. Pipes probably refer to tubes used to produce tones by blowing air through them, as in an organ. This shows us that the devil had the makings of percussion instruments and wind instruments built into his very being.
Here is a message for lost souls – Jesus Christ is God, manifest in the flesh and He came on earth to die for our sins. He bore our sins on the cross of Calvary. Have you accepted His free gift of Salvation? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Have you truly BELIEVED from your heart that Jesus Christ is LORD? Have you BELIEVED in the death, burial and resurrection found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KING JAMES Bible? That's how a lost soul can get saved.
Remember that it's NOT what we do that gets us saved, it's what Jesus Christ DID on the cross of Calvary, that's what SAVES a lost soul. All you have to do to be saved, and on your way to heaven is place your TRUST in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ and nothing else, as sufficient for your salvation, (Romans 3:25 KJB – "Whom God hath set forth to be a PROPITIATION through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;") (Propitiation means the act of appeasing wrath, Jesus took your place on the cross.) Will you accept Jesus Christ as your saviour by simple faith, simply trusting in his shed Blood which is sufficient to save your soul from hell? The last sentence is all you must do to be saved, and that is FAITH, not works, TRUSTING in what someone else did for you is the only thing that is not a work.
