  1. For the record, "Untextured" is what that floating graybox naxx is XD

The fun part is, The devs are there in that area right now, figuring out how to add quel'thalas to the proper map in 2 expansions. Wild right?

  2. You can go to the elf place in Season of Discovery if you get lucky with the random teleport trinket. The problem is, there is an automatic gm debuff and teleport back to your capital city if you end up there (The debuff says "WIP, I don't think you are spose to be here)

  3. Hey dude, love your videos, if you can go though structures it's because the ''collision'' is turned off, so I guess in english you could say ''discollided/uncolliding'' or something like that? Maybe other engliqh speakers might suggest something

  4. It's been stated a few times that the developers had the idea to make raids an extension of max and near max level dungeons because it would have been cool and that they didn't know just how large an instanced dungeon should be. For example they made Blackrock Depths EXTREMELY large to begin with – it even had the entirety of Molten Core inside of it when it was introduced in 0.7.0 (Beta).

  5. The portal platform thing underneath the untextured naxx is actually used in wrath to teleport into some of the other floating citadels around Northrend (or a similar type platform anyway).

With night elf structures to the north, I think that is essentially a placeholder for Quel'thelas, as they were intending to add it in eventually. The purple texture part is new-ish. I don't remember that being there when I explored previously. They're probably testing the channels/map locations etc within that purple area before adding Quel'thelas to the actual eastern kingdoms.

Also, you can actually make it to the area you explored today by carefully jumping around behind Scarlet Monastery in a normal mount on Classic and running across the hilly areas you ran across, too.

The ghostlands additions also seem new. Looks like the slaughterhouse part of Deatholme (the Ghostlands final levelling area). It used to be just brown/undeveloped EPL texture there. It looks like they might potentially have more of Deatholme underground.

  6. Fun fact: I have an addon that lets me select custom mounts for my alts and one of the features is that it will automatically select a ground or flying mount based on the zone I'm in. When I go into Strat using this method and mount up, the addon automatically selects a flying mount, but mounts can't fly inside the uninstanced dungeon. Kind of interesting because you can't mount at all in the actual dungeon.
