Today we are going to talk about World of Warcraft (WOW)’s newest expansion Shadowlands. We’ll be talking about all of the new and returning features and specifically try to answer if it is any good.

Welcome back to Tiny Blue Games! My name is Csaw or Chris, and today we are finally talking about WOW. A lot of people have been asking me for my opinion on Shadowlands now that it’s out and I’ve been trying to wait as long as possible to give a respone. The reason for this is that I wanted to try as much of the expansion as I could before giving my answer. It’s now been about 3 weeks since launch and I feel like I have tried a large amount of the available features (Leveling, Battlegrounds, Arenas, Dungeons, Raids, Covenants, Torghast) and I am ready to give my verdict!

For a bit of background information, I’ve been playing WOW on and off since Wrath of The Lich King. I officially started playing about half-way through Wrath and played WOW as my primary MMO all the way to the start of Mists of Pandaria. I then returned to the game at the end of Legion to play through Battle for Azeroth… and we all know how that expansion went. About another year has passed and I am finally stepping back into Azeroth to check out all of the changes that have happened in preparation for the launch of the Shadowlands.

  4. Thing with adding new classes, and i am glad they left that out, is that they don't seem to really know what to do with the existing ones. I used to fear patch notes because just as they hit the sweet spot for me they decide 'nah let's change up the whole playstyle' (looking at you, Ret-Pal)

  8. Glad to hear WoW is treating you well. "and 50-60 is story driven your first time round" – the FFXIV player in me grinneth ear to ear. Although PVP is still the weakest part of XIV (IMO), I'm hearing about the PVP currency and the vendors and thinking "Yep" because A. I remember that and B. The PVP gear up to level 60 is actually statted and generally good gearXD (heck, the Garo set I got pulled me all the way through to Idyllshire)… anyhow. yes, I am grinning hearing about some of its throwbacks and concessions to its player base.

    You need new fans, I get it. Never forget your roots! (earthroot for sale… 5 g…!)

    Ahem.

  9. Glad your liking it. O N L Y way we come back is the eventual BC only retro server release. As Blizzard is dead now and thi sis all Activision now. Blizzard is a dead name a husk now….. That being said we watching this are happy you had some fun in it, but the game is dead for us here. Best WIshes and Happy Holiday's and Merry Christmas to all.
