  1. I'll be honest, I thought about going back now after quitting a month into BFA. It's the start of a multi-expansion storyline, the alt thing sounds good (I was always an altaholic), and it's the 20th anniversary (It's a big deal to me because I played since 2004). Then I saw a trailer, all female characters in a soap opera, but I thought "maybe the male badassery will start in later trailers". Then I saw a second trailer and wow (no pun intended), the wokest character that I've ever seen, and no one's ever heard of featured as the main bad ass character. Give me a break, I will not be returning. It doesn't feel like the game is being developed in a way that interests me like it did in the past. A real shame, I don't think anyone back in 2004 – 2009 would've believed that this would be what WoW would turn into.

  2. I hated that bs "you are good as you are" part when the black girl with one arm was offered a prostethic and she declined, because whatever. There is not a single person on the planet that would decline an offer like that.

  3. And if you mention it in their forums they ask what the problem is with having this Uber DEI expansion. They say if the game isn't something we like we should play something else. A sentiment the woke degens need to take to heart as much as they love to say it to others.

  4. Played through the story, I haven't yet got woke vibes from the cripple black lady. From what I've seen, she's a very common story trope that works very well in cinema and served a specific purpose. To help Anduin find his way back to the Light. There's dozens of movies about the unlikely teamup of a downhearted protagonist who's lost their way, can't pick themselves up and someone who's crippled or mentally challenged comes along with a positive outlook on life (literally a person who has every excuse to give up on themselves) and ultimately helps the MC get their shit together via a common theme they share. That was this storyline and it works fine. The fact that she's a woman or black or gay (calling it) makes no difference at THIS particular moment. Now, if Blizzard starts adding in lines to try and give her a black moment or a "I don't need no man." Then I agree with you, we'll see. But right now, for what that character does – SHE IS NOT WOKE.

  5. thank the creater. i didn't buy the wwi i just decide to quit yesterday. video games is just a prison that you have to work hard to get worthless data. the game play of the quest in wow is so stupid. the only think that kept me playing is the pvp. and to have fun you need to waste hours farming the same raid and dungeon for some stupid gear that you will vendor… and repeat

  6. 1:58 the alliance are good guys?

really? Jaina commit genocide in Dalaran, flat out genocide and the alliance just said "oh but she was in mourning. its ok"
so if Garrosh was crying when he used the mana bomb it would be ok? yeah bad writing

Jaina has been a war criminal for a long time. really wish they'd retire her already.

    but NOOOOO

as a Blood Elf, in TWW. you have to go TO DALARAN, in the same room with her. where you can probably smell the blood of your dead kin on the walls still

  7. The main rivalry this expansion is between Xalatath and Alleria. Nerubians on both sides are led by females. Dwarf council is 3/4 females, and the replacement for the one good character this expansion introduced and almost immidiately killed off, Baelgrim, is also a female who just got a Storm gryphon because she's so special it wanted to bond with her. Unlike any other stormrider previously. Arathi seems to be led by a female general and the self-insert black, afro, disabled, halfelf princess who tells Anduin what the Light is all about. (If its a remnant of an ancient Empire, why does it have no king or a stable leadership, seemingly, anyway?) At start of nerubian zone, we are saved (but Anduin is being let to die) by new troll-night elf hybrid woman. Moira picks up her dad's weapon after repeatedly saying she doesnt want it.

For 'male representation' we have Anduin who cries more than all the woman combined. Baelgrim who dies. The other council member who actually legit has a good story about him also being a famous smuggler, I'll give them that. Dagran II who is a nerdy little soyboy. Thrall and Turalyon who didnt do almost anything this expansion so far. The two other leaders of the Nerubian resistance triumvirate, but its clear the Weaver is set up to look like the overall leader. The vaguely tanned elf Lampligher in Arathi who seems to be in charge of Faerin and has vastly more experience, but in reality she tells him what to do constantly. The leader of the Mechanicus dwarfs who was portrayed to be an unthinking saturday morning cartoon villain. We have Magni who acquisces almost everything to Moira and is being more or less removed from the equation on account of him returned to flesh from diamond.

You know who would have been a good inclusion for an ancient Titan-made dwarf island though? Goddamn Tyr, since he returned in DF. But nah, what good is the most famous, knowledgeable and likely powerful Titan Keeper for, really. I guarantee you if Tyr was Tyra, she'd be there front and center. If they werent too busy making the Titans (just like the Naaru since Legion) look like villains, anyhow.

This isnt quite a first, though. I 'member' Kul Tiras also had all the male leaders deposed one way or another to install females in their stead. Boralus was the exception where the female leader was attacked by her female underling, aided by the Queen of the Naga. From Bfa to the end of SL everything was about Sylvanas. To the point she ended up lecturing Arthas in his last moments, whilst Uther and Jaina just stood by and watched.

Shadowlands seen all the male leaders die or vanish too, or had to be surrounded by a literal council of woman like the son of Denathrius. By the constant berating of Kaelthas by the Accuser, youd have the impression he was a worse villain than the Jailer. (Though tbh, Kael was ruined in Tbc already) Maldraxxus leaders when all is said and done are Draka and Vashj now. Furry zone and Angels had female leaders as is, with dark angels having two consecutive female leaders, as we dispatched the first who actually had the potential to be a good character for a moment. Pelagos, how could anyone forget him, became the Judge of all souls, the person who couldnt even decide to be a man or a woman.

Dragonflight was more of a mixed bag, admittedly, in the leader front, but examples such as Malfurion switched for Ysera who ended up doing nothing but reinforcing her daughter she is a great leader. Or centaurs being all female leaders, including a deaf one (do I need to spell out what would a savage society do to someone disabled instead of letting them become a leader. Or how they'd never let a woman lead in the first place), except the one guy who was black furred and turned out to be a villain, surprise surprise. Nozdormu was also off-set by his (now fully armored) wife, now-vaguely gendered Chromie (because of a spelling error from a decade ago) and new Infinite dragoness. Raszageth was the most menacing villain of the expansion. Fyrakk was a cheap copy of Deathwing. We had the other not-Deathwing dragon led on a leash by Xalatath who wasnt seen in the new expansion so far at all, not a peep. We had an Emerald Dream patch without much involvement from either Malfurion or Cenarius, instead Tyrande, Alex, her new icy GF and Ysera being front and center.

Tldr. Any and all masculinity in WoW died in Legion with Varian, Voljin and Kiljaeden.

I've yet to see Metzen inserting any back. So far we only had the emotional, weepy talk cinematic between Anduin and Thrall, his self-insert oc.

  8. They've been pandering for a while now, but it was hyper drive after that sexual lawsuit. Now it's just so overboard, I just don't even bother worrying about it or caring about any lore. That's been dead for ages. They can't even have 50/50 representation even though that would still be silly, it's just full-blown female mode – and start killing off iconic male characters. It also breaks the forth wall, knowing all these characters had real life politics placed before any form of lore. You can just picture the higher-ups figuring that all out. It's not just WoW, it's Diablo, it's all their artwork/marketing imaging. It's blatant, and then you have your typical people who feign ignorance and strawman those who point it out.

  9. I came back knowing WoW is woke AF. I need a break from dawntrail and Woke Lamat their main character. So I came into this with low expectations. I can say TWW has more content than dawn trail. I’m actually enjoying it a bit more until I notice that most of people in power are women. Very difficult not to see this. I don’t like Anduin is all sad boy. The new character Faelin is wokeness manifested….also WoW team may ship her with Anduin. I really don’t like her character model it’s gross. Aleria model is gross too. She went from pretty to boss babe.

  10. Have you seen the 20th year presentation? Testosterone levels on my screen were showing -9000!!!
I cant handle one more wow cinematic thats points out the "power of friendship"…. all cinematics have this theme for 4 expansions now. No exceptions.

  11. the wind runners become a huge part of the plot, get power from questionable a place and they turn grey! do you not see a pattern here! a huge character will die meaninglessly and a male character gets shamed by an OP whamen character!

  12. Drac’thir Evokers would have been a thousand times more appealing if they let every race be Evoker; thereby allowing that race to be the Drac’thir’s visage form and starting them at the Forbidden Reach like all the Drac’thir do already. All your Evoker attacks turn you into the Drac’thir model, which you can also customize as it exists now. This would have eliminated Blizzard needing to create that cringe twink anime boy model and allowed people to play a dragon that can change into any other race they want just like all the other dragons can in the story.

  13. you look at a game set in a fantasy world and cry that it doesn't look real? I could only make it 6:51min into your video before I lost anymore brain cells. I understand valid criticism for the game, but you are just nitpicking at this point
