In today’s Daily Fix:
Blizzard is offering a new mount in World of Warcraft, this one going for a whopping $90. But unline a lot of optional items in games, the price isn’t scaring away fans who are buying the ‘brutosaurs’ en masse. In other news, the publishing director for Baldur’s Gate 3 had some words for Ubisoft. Ubi recently closed the team behind the acclaimed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, despite being a fan-favorite and scoring well with critics. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough to translate to sales, but Larian’s Michael Douse believes the problem lies with Ubisoft’s “subs over sales” business model.
Presented by Batman: Arkham Shadow. Only available on Meta Quest 3 and 3S.

  1. Imagine spending that amount of money to purchase something that only exists in the game and infinite copies are made available, only to have the corporation decide to take it away at any time or when they come out with newer and better mounts. Here is a better way to go about this if this weird looking thing matters a lot to some people, just go on a private server and get it for free. Done. Saves 90 bucks.

  2. i don't even blame about price anymore damm they have high pay salaries in some of fields 500 workers on wow so subs ain't gonna cut it anymore if they wanna get more profit than 5-10mil per year even thought if you think logically 100k profit is still profit…

  3. This COULD have been a reward for doing the anniversary content. This COULD have been free, where for exampel u could get a gem for each expansion u own to put on the mount. There was ALOT of other options here. Even that some of the money went to a charity or even that u got ingame play time for free. But instead they went the super greedy way, not even an innovetive fun way. Supporting this does not only mean accept the price tag, but u also accept the absolute lack of design and creativity that COULD have been made. Its not good enough for the price. Simple as that. Its not a point of view, its not depending on the buyer, its just plane obvious.

  4. I'm buying my brutosaur with AfterPay blud, Fuck u lot innit I aint spending no damn 5 mill gold and I can work a free shift to get the Brutosaur in, If you don't think this Luxury Designer Brutosaur is worth a single shift of pay then maybe you're not emotionally and financially ready to accept a gift for yourself or others on this type of level, The Black Armoured Brutosaur is a Privilege – Not a Purchase.
