  1. At this point why not talk to Asmongold. Video idea, Bajheera vs Asmongold. You think wow is the best thing to touch earth, Asmongold thinks wow is now trash. It would be entertaining to watch complete opposite opinions interact.

  2. If you're a man and you complain about masculinity being taken out of media, you need to go outside. It doesn't affect your life at all. If you want to be masculine then be masculine. Stop crying about video games and cartoons. They're not making you less flabby.

  3. Either way I couldn't give a crap about story line, I enjoy the gameplay of wow but I hate grinding gear, I hate non stop nerfs and buffs and I hate that if I don't play for a while and try and return I have to go through hell sorting out addons and macro's it's just non stop garbage to play some arena or bg's

  4. I think we can all agree that WoW use to be much more manly. It had the manliest vibes ever back then. A gnome player was just another badass. Dwarves? Sort it out over a pint or brawl it out, lads! Like really.

  5. As someone who very much enjoys the gritty darkside of world of warcraft and the Masculine Energy stuff. I also agree that asmon is just a little angry it isnt the same hardcore death metal type atmosphere it used to be and i understand his frustration…. BUT i also think he over does his reactions for clicks and baits and views so i tend to not watch him any longer because i like people who can be real and themselves 100% of the time. There isnt anything wrong with having both softer and heavier sides of wow. My fiance enjoys the softer side of wow while i enjoy the crushing of my enemies etc. Bahj also does keep a very realistic view of the game because he doesnt need to look to deep into it. The problem with people nowadays is they put tooooo much of their personal world view into the game experience and thats what is causing asmongold to react that way because he is butting heads with the same energy. Bahjeera just wants to crack skulls and enjoy the progression loop and lift weights. I appreciate both sides ❤

  6. Respectfully Dragonflight is dogwater storywise and its half the reason I quit and its only been going downhill, I thought maybe they might have changed from Shadowlands and learned their mistakes but instead they doubled down and somehow made the story worse in everyway.
I have a really hard time believing the lawsuit and subsequent workplace changes wasn't a massive factor in why its now a Disney channel made for TV movie.

  7. 21:50 LOL so wrong ! That is exactly what the video you are reacting is trying to convey and you are trying so hard to avoid even conceive !… what you are trying to convey is exactly why ppl didn't like dragon flight story!.. oh well, back to ignorance I guess !

  8. God, Bajh, you always have such a good grasp on things. You are the opposition to toxic masculinity, not through yelling about it online, but by example. And it's so refreshing.

  9. While it is funny watching Skeletor Asmond talk about how he wants his games "masculine" when he sits inside playing video games, and refuses almost any physical activity and social interaction outside of twitch chat, it is equally funny watching Bajheera (who I very much enjoy watching and will continue to do so) pretend Warcraft didn't go from hard hitting violent fantasy themed story lines, to fairy wings, making jewelry for some dragon guys boyfriend, and planning a gay centaur wedding… Wedding planning gay or straight (because who cares) should not be a required storyline in any war-oriented game mmorpg or not. The stories have become watered down, politically correct dumpster fires. I don't think Asmond did a good job explaining what the OP was saying. I don't give a fourth of a fuck about Diablo; never played it, and I don't plan to. We don't want "guy on rock", most of us just want to kill the bad guys, explore the world, find treasures and battle against other players. I like doing these things though because of the Warcraft story… War of the ancients to legion, the lore is just awesome. While in my almost 20 years of playing this game, there has been good expansions and bad expansions, Shadowlands was just an absolute disaster. For people like me who only have a few hours a week to play while balancing a marriage, work, and kids, this is supposed to be an escape. Those quests were tiny little segments of the main story lines, and I still enjoy playing the game but we are being delusional if we can't admit that blizz started to do some weird virtue signaling after the lawsuits and it just didn't feel like WoW for a minute. All that being said, I love that they have classic iterations of the game to play with, and I have hope for War Within just as I have had hope for every expansion and my Cleveland Browns… Lets just hope I am not disappointed on all fronts next year XD

  10. Dragon flight and shadowlands lost what made WoW's story attractive to some people and now they are resentful of current wow. dragon flight is nothing like the old game, the old game is what these people enjoyed, DF's animation looks like clay. the Villains are straight out of a nickelodeon cartoon, the story is all emotion and no violence or brutality, the world feels safe and not dangerous, gameplay is over designed, button bloat, Mobility creep, micro ccs, too many CDs, extreme monetization, 15 USD per month + buying expansions every 2 years for 50 USD + mounts/pets/transmogs and WoW tokens. it's easy to see why Asmongold doesn't like retail WoW.

  11. DF story was boring not gonna lie but overall I think its alright, u cant go big men fight each other forever you need some change here and there and with WoW hits a hit or miss, gameplay over everything, FF14 got a great story but the gameplay and questing is so boring i cant play it anymore. Have to disagree about Asmons take about Anduin, he literally got tortured and mind controlled, that would fk up anyone.

  12. oh, Asmongold must have saw a women body builder. I think he is or was of the camp of something along the lines of, a "women can never win against a man in a fight, because they are a women."

  13. I admit I had my issues with teh Dragonflight story, but regardless, what this expansion is setting up with Irdikron, Xal'atath and the Void seems amazing, hell even Aberrus, Neltharion's evil laboratory was sick too see. I am super hyped for the Worldsoul Saga and I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

  14. Well iam surprised Bajh…. You are simply not listening, they reason why the "story matters" is because its and RPG. And guess what many RPGs are story heavy games. Reason why he is referring old blizzard use to be cool is like what disney made of Star Wars. Turn a great story with amazing characters to…… LAME!

  15. I think the story of wow has gotten to PG and they are to afraid to make the game controversial with a more real style I can see where reflection and wisdom can be a story but if they are stuck there for many expansions it makes you not care about the story I think we are all waiting for Anduin to succeed his father and the story to stop kissing the feet of the player like some hippy ass stuff going on I want to see Anduin go super sayian 10 one day

  16. For me, wow is a seasonal game, i'm detached from the lore aspects ever since Legion finished. I really don't give it more than 3-4 months of my every year now, play very infrequently and really dislike how ALL of your progress gets hard reset if you step away for a few months. Just kinda leaves me with this feeling of.. every expansion is only worth playing in the final patch, when the hard resets are done and over with, that's really my largest complaint.

  17. Im super critical of asmongold but when comes to WoW im %99 with him, i think hes peak when comes to wow, the rest he just talks shit. All hes saying is wow used to be exciting, that "get your axe and fight" energy that Merzen and the og gave us. Now is about feelings and shit, after a feelings cutscene all i wanna do is sit in town and chat not fight and kill mobs 😂

  18. I'm still waiting for the Arakkoa as a playable race. and this whole furry nonsense is ridiculous, just because furries adopted the characters doesn't mean they were designed with furry in mind. too many mental gymnastics to trigger people for no reason.

  19. He’s right at its core, the games writing is pretty soft compared to previous versions with characters being much more emotional and very few badass moments. That said it is t nearly as bad as he’s claims and there are still powerful characters with badass moments. Personally I wish they’d toughen up some of them and provide hero moments but it’s still fine since idc about lore I just wanna smash with my big axe

  20. your version of "badass" seems to be anything most people would find neat. The dude was just advocating for grittier and more grounded conflicts and for the cinematics to get people hyped for the game like the WoD one did. He's not the only one to make the claim that TWW cinematic didn't make them excited for the game.

  21. I agree the theme of wow would be more interesting to me if it were darker, not sure what exactly that has to do with masculinity though. Its definitely some confused insecure clickbait alt-right perspective on things.

  22. WoW became boring to me because over time, I realized that the true enjoyment of World of Warcraft for me was playing with my friends. I could play WC3, WC2, and everything and enjoy the lore. I used to remember enjoying PvP a lot and doing so much of it, raiding, farming, etc. that I spent so much of my life doing it with friends. As I lost friends and groups and everyone just got older and kind of left, its hard to be excited anymore. I went back every now and again, especially for Dragonflight and while I did play it with friends, I hadn't goals for myself in WoW anymore and I can't get myself to find any. Burnout is real and I kind of feel what you mean when you said "needing a break" and I think its kind of true but I think some people like me, the break will be ad infinatum.

  23. I'm with ya on a lot of this, but anduin having PTSD wasn't a very hype expansion launch trailer. If you watch like all the other ones before dragonflight, they've been extremely hype cinematics
