FALSE. "Nothing you buy outside of the game can give you an advantage."
You can buy in-game gold via Blizzard's official website. The gold can then be used to purchased in-game items, weapons, and armor in the game, giving the player a tremendous advantage.
The fact that Blizzard hasn't raised subscription fees in 20 years is a reflection of the culture. Not a single other major game has a monthly subscription. Some have in-game cosmetics, fees, boosts, season passes, etc… but no other popular game has a monthly fee system. If Blizzard increased their subscription prices, everyone would quit immediately. So the fact that Blizzard hasn't increased their prices isn't them being nice. They don't raise their prices because they can't.
Thats total BS its gone up by $10 per month!
