  1. I do feel like they massively missed the balance on human/creature on dracthyr. Turns out a lot of people want au ra more than small dragon. Star Trek got it right with forehead aliens, it turns out.

  2. On the official post for Dracthyr getting more classes, the amount of people who said they SHOULDN'T be Shaman was wild. Like do you not understand what the Black Dragonflight is about? The aspect is called Earthwarder. Not to mention the elemental heritage of dragons as a whole.

Also, fixing armor on the base Dracthyr model is something Blizz definitely needs to do. But I agree with Blizzard that casting Evoker spells draws on your Dragon nature and you should be in Dracthyr form to be Evoker and I really hope they hold their ground on this. All the people that picked the 'dragon caster' class but don't want to be a dragon are ridiculous.

  3. I feel like these changes to non-Evoker classes or Dracthyr animations are a test/stepping stone for opening up Evoker stuff down the line for other races. Feels like a natural progression.

  4. 25:25 They don't mean the tail swipe and wing buffet racial abilities, which is what you're talking about. What they mean are how most of the abilities are blasted out of the Evoker's mouth.

  5. I don't get it… i can run BRD today with my eyes closed… and i can tell you where each boss, event, patrol, whatever is, how to get there, and that is without having been in there in over 15 years… I led so many attunement runs back then, i can do that while asleep on my chair (and that's not a joke… i once ran a marathon of those for a new guild i joined at the time, to get a bunch of new recruits attuned while quite literaly snoring with only 1 eye barely opened)

  6. Blackrock Depth – best dungeon ever made. Large, epic, really feels like a Darkiron city – that's how dungeons should be. Not the short e-sport trimmed minidungeons we get these days.

It's not even close. In a list of the 20 best dungeons ever made in WoW the Nr 1-19 slots are BRD and Nr. 20 is Shadowfang Keep (the original version).

22:07 There is no "bad" when talking about BRD.

  7. At the length this event will be live, you have roughly 5 days per set to get all 13 sets.

Time to put our subs to good use

Also, the path to non-dracthyr evokers is so obvious to me.
First, do what you said about Evokers being able to be in visage form in combat. Sprouting wings for some abilities isn't weird, Demon Hunters do it every time they glide after all. Mages have been breathing fire for a long time as is, it makes perfect sense.

Once that's in place, offer evokers to several non-dracthyr races. Canonically, all evokers would be dragons, if you played a Night Elf Evoker for example. From there, visage form would be backwards how it works on dracthyr. Visage form would be a dracthyr form and your normal form would be the race you picked (like my night elf example earlier)

The dragon we players have likely interacted with the most has a gnome visage form. I want my dream of Gnome Evoker to be alive one day
