Nerfing Classes in Shadowlands is the talk amongst the PvP & PvE community. We have seen changes to classes like Hunters and Rogues due to their performance in both Arena & Raid; however, I fear that this is only the beginning. I did my best to warn the community of this happening, and now we can expect classes like Balance Druids, Retribution Paladins, and Arms Warriors to be next. However, I think players fail to realize that so many classes have incredible strengths that will be revealed in time following additional nerfs. In order to maintain a balanced meta in the current state of Shadowlands, it’s important for the community to be patient and realize what they are asking for. Additionally, Blizzard must change their approach to balancing classes when trying to appeal to the general PvP community.

The point of this video is to show that the approach to nerfing Classes in WoW is wrong. No where did I say rogues are bad or that the nerfs are not justified. You can make frequent changes to get to the same place. But they need to be incremental or with the understanding that if they go too far, they can be reverted. I hope people can see beyond that. The fact is, I hate rogues lol. I hate queuing into rogue mage in 3s. But I can still look beyond that, and want to hold blizzard accountable in their approach to balancing. Again, I'd advise you watch the entire video if you want to get an accurate picture of what is being discussed.
It’s not a 50% nerf though, is it. Especially if you’re not playing Kyrian. That some selective reasoning there. I am for the nerf so that there’s options for other covenants.

Nah man I still say screw sub rogues. I play an enh shaman and I play in 2’s…. when fighting a rogue tell me how they have THAT MUCH cc… can pop evasion… can heal… smoke bomb… and still do insane damage… screw up their opener and they just vanish and wait to do it again… it’s bs.. and don’t get me started on fire mages either ESPECIALLY with their ice block heal conduit… some of these specs are just broken with the amount of cc, healing, and damage AND utility they have. It’s ridiculous.
Side note Convoke needs fixed on druids..
Another side note … every class that can do these OP openers can do them from stealth. THAT gives it an even more unfair advantage

In the enhancement shaman defense as I play one! We oom ourselves very quick with off heals, we are no where near ret in the off heals department!
I have literally oomed myself and not been able to cast dmg or cc abilities that cost mana!

I think the subrogue nerfs were a bit heavy-handed, but why is everyone talking about what they've done to subrogue non-stop, But the second you talk about hunters and how unfairly they were nerfed without any buff to sustain, people start losing their minds and crying that hunter is still OP even though our burst combo that we rely heavily on was nerfed almost 40% in damage. Hunters are only super strong in low-skilled environments where people don't know how to reactively use defensives.
I don't know why everyone is talking about 50% rogues nerf and saying no words about hunters 50% nerf that was a week before rogues.

(With realm restarts) Aimed Shot no longer deals 10% increased damage in PvP situations.
(With realm restarts) Double Tap's extra Aimed Shot deals 50% reduced damage in PvP situations.

Kyrian
[With regional restarts] Combat Meditation (Pelagos Soulbind) Mastery value reduced by 50% in PvP and duration increased by 50% in PvP.
This is not incremental changes at all. Kyrian’s Combat Meditation change almost had no impact on rogues because mastery increases only finishing moves dmg but this is absolute nerf for hunters because mastery is increasing dmg of all abilities. Before these in ~175 gear there was ~20k sum crit. With 2.3 sec cast, against cloth, 2 min cd (orc racial), and 20% crit chance on each of aimed shots (50% if target inside resonating arrow). Now in ~190 gear sum dmg ~12k. Once again, this is dmg against cloth. When we are talking about dmg against plate armor the physical dmg reduction is playing bad joke with aimed.

I sometimes feel like all pvp balancing is done by single very nervous intern 😀 Imagine this 25y old bloke just going through forums, counting "Plz nerf" posts and than slapping -50% to everything 😀
Also while I generally agree with your approach, when supernerf hammer hits rogues I am not even mad lol 😀 Atleast I dont have to kill them, now that they are already dead =)
I agree that these nerfs to much of an Reaction rather then a thoughtful look followed by an action. I dont think we can change the people behind those posts. But maybe stop others from getting to this point. I for example play enhance. And I want to keep playing it. If people, like you in this video, jsut call out our heal. we are fucked. because we dont have anything except a 1,5 minute cd to heal ourselves. i in this situation would like to see some exchanges. nerf heal, give other talent. or edit another talent sow e can be a bit more defensive. eartshield is a joke. and i know that this is the same situation with other classes.
As a healer I didn’t mind the overwhelming damage. What I really don’t like is how hybrid classes can do more than half my healing. In that case I should be able to do half their damage also. Also prot pala’s are annoying af.
I usually like your videos but I don't get it how you time after time can state that "rogues are nerfed by 50%". The class as a whole is nowhere near a 50% nerf just by having their Echoing nerfed by 50% and shadowblades by 10%. It's also a bit funny how you state that "hunters gets nerfed properly with 5%", where they actually had a 50% nerf to Double Tap aswell before.

Nerf always should start with spreading outstanding spells dmg to filler spells. For example reduce dmg of shadowstrike and eviscaret but increase the damage of backstab or even shuriken's so you nerf the oneshot but give options to keep.the dmg. Or nerf aimed and arcane shot but buff steady shot and even auto attack. So global cd doesnt let them oneshot with one spell but the pressure can keep the same in good hands. If its not enough or makes some unintended glitches then you can nerf the overall dmg with a small percentage but regularly

In regards to the heal nerfs. Yes , Enhancement heals ALOT too, but it does cost ALOT of mana. If you heal too much, you're oom for the rest of the arena.

You don't get to just continue on one shotting people all over the place because it doesn't feel good to be nerfed. A lot of classes need tuning and hopefully they all get it. I could care less how many hours you put into your class I will always prefer a healthy meta. I am legit only playing against paladins, druids, priests, hunters and rogues atm. Talk about a boring and stale meta. Convoke the Spirits in particular needs looking at. It's absolutely absurd in it's current state and extremely unfun to play against.
I agree large nerfs arnt nice, but in 2's a pair of rogues can still one shot players even after the nerf, so personally I still think they are massively powerful.
