  2. I played other mmo-s without damage meters and parses and the amount of garbage players who I know do nothing during boss fight but I cannot kick them because I cannot really prove it is insane. Desire to remove parses is desire of a looser

  3. the logs thing is spot on, trying to act like logs matter for a level 25 or level 40 raid in season of discovery is just insane to me. Even if you have entirely grey parsing raid group you can down all the content because its freaking classic, its supposed to be fun its not sweaty retail.

  4. Smolderon has to be the worst boss mechanic in that raid. Also Nimye whatever the name is. Absolute trash. Same thing with that flaming centaur Druid, forgot his name. Just fuck no.

  5. In my experience playing videogames, there's 2 things who always Made me get fun. Feel powerful and make the enemy kneel down. By these sweaty standards the Best final fantasy are 2/3 instead of 6 and because ff6 is fucking easy. Parses are just a antifun method because ppl forgot what vanilla is and what wow is. In wow You die and the worst thing is pay the repair bill. If You have so Zero tolerance to wipe in wow making You gatekeep with parses, maybe You won't wanna play wow i'm first place

  6. Asmon: I think your car could use an oil change

WoW Community: You barely even drive my car these days, how would you even know? You just hate cars, you want my car to break down!

  7. Original player. Now playing SoD only. When I log into retail I just feel kind of sick.
My addons: Auctionator to help me know prices, MoveAny, to rearrange windows and change UI and font size. (bad eyes), Scrap, to auto sell gray trash. Starcursor- puts a little glow on my cursor. Pawn, lets me know at a glance if something is better than what I have equipped without trying to read to compare. Again- eyes.
I need to rest them as much as possible and anything that prevents eyestrain is helpful. These are QoL add-ons that actually give me the ability to play the game long enough in the day or week to make it worthwhile.
What of these? Not all addons are raid helpers.

  8. ive been playing wow for almost 10 years. Ive been collecting, mounts, gear, mogs…for a while. many times people will go back n fourth on the topic. 'wow is bad..vs wow is good" over and over. I just stopped listening to both sides and do my own thing. NBD

  9. I will 100% agree with dps meters ruining the game. I watched it happen. Old school raids/dungeons were all about how can our group use all our skills to beat the boss. Success was solely defined as beating the boss. After meters came in, every fight was a race to check and see who’s dps was highest, whether boss was dead or not. It absolutely killed the vibe, the spirit of community cooperation, and made it all much more individualistic and competitive within the group, rather than vs the external enemies. I really believe that dps meters were the beginning of the downhill slope.

  10. Been over 3500 in M+ every season I invested time in. Have aotc/CE every season since I came back in SLS1 and we boost people to aotc as a guild. I've also pushed in 2s and 3s for a few consecutive seasons in a row. Been playing less and less and tbh this game is absolute dog shit anymore. Pvp is dead and the amount of cc is absolutely horrible. New players don't even stand a chance due to the same incels controlling the top of the ladder for 14 years now. Raiding isn't even fun anymore and now our entire discord is basically giving up on wow. The amount of add-ons and weakauras I am running to do end game content is just absurd at this point. I work full time and still workout and I'd rather not even waste my extra free time on wow anymore. Id recommend just going out and getting some sun and meeting people as opposed to queuing pvp against dudes who spend 18 hours a day at their keyboard. Always loved wow but ya that isn't enough to stick around any longer. Started in bc…took a couple years off after mop but this past season was it for me. Shit is way too sweaty and just toxic at end game. The community is absolute trash anymore outside of the people who form to help farm mogs and mounts tbh. Legit will farm elite mogs in a couple hours in 2s then I just don't even bother climbing past 1800 cuz I'm not into facing rank 1 losers on their 8th alt when I'm in honor gear. Asmons right about everything in this video. Defending this game at this point is absolutely ridiculous. It's delusion. It's also comical to see certain streamers going after asmon for getting carried when we have a whole list of people from this past season alone who paid for carries to get their legendary. Bunch of hypocrites.

  11. Being able to see people on a statistical level before playing with them creates such a depressing way of gaming. It's fun to interact and be social. Judging everyone based on statistics and never trying with players due to that, blaming them for losses based on that and just creating toxicity overall based on this is just awful.
