There’s quite a lot of possible spawn points for the Playful Vulpin so just keep going to each of them until you find it (5 times in total) and here are the emotes:
Playful Vulpin begins to dig curiously = emote /curious
Playful Vulpin wanders around unable to sit still = emote /sit
Playful Vulpin sings all alone = emote /sing
Playful Vulpin dances with joy = emote /dance
Playful Vulpin sits down lonely and sad = emote /pet

Thank you for this ! Saddly, it only took me about an hour to complete… Started at Heartwood grove and he spawned 4 times around that area. The fifth one got him at the spots just west of the Heart of The Forest ! All thanks to you !
I don't even play WoW but this pet is so cute!
Did the Playful Vulpin run around did all 5 emotes and completed but didn't get Dodger 🙁

This can be done in an hour or two. You might have to type /sing or whatever several times to get him to react to it.
