Hey, this is Honeebear…yeah, I keep missing you . Since prepatch, I've been leveling alts so I imagine thats why you can't find me. Love your videos! I still haven't figured out my goldmaking strategy. I feel a bit overwhelmed. I have always been big into inscription and I imagine its still going to be good. Even though our server is low pop, the competition is pretty rough and I don't know if I want to be spending the beginning of the expansion doing an AH pvp war. lol
I've been playing beta since mid-August. I'm tempted to go tailoring/enchanting first, but I think anyone who does even a little research will be doing that, for three reasons: First, herb/ore spawns are super rare. Second, cloth is really easy to get, especially when you remember to train Shadowlands Cloth Scavenging as soon as you get to Oribos (Shadowlands tailoring level 1). Third, enchanting is very easy to skill, especially combined with tailoring.
Don't make bandages. Make bracers and disenchant them to get mats and skill points up to 25 (I think). And last I checked (it's beta, so…) you can skill enchanting from 70-90 for free by doing the Eternal Crystal Shatter to produce 3 Sacred Shards, then combine the shards and repeat. This costs no material, and the spell gives skill gains all the way to 90, when it goes gray. That's ridiculous, but there you have it.
I maxed tailoring and enchanting effortlessly, just with mats I'd gathered by leveling three alts. By comparison, I made it to 46 Jewelcrafting and 5 cooking before I ran out of mats.
So I'm thinking enchants will be a dime a dozen, compared to herbs, ore, meat, and fish.
I have a 50 Mage, 50 Rogue, 50 Druid and 50 Hunter.
I want to do Professions and this is my idea with them is as follows:
1. Mage(Human) – Tailoring/Enchanting.
2. Rogue (Night Elf)- Inscription/Alchemy.
3. Druid(Worgen)- Herbs/Skinning.
4. Hunter- Leatherworking/Jewelcrafting.
Thoughts?
i am gonna be herb and skinning in my main while i lvl and might ditch one of the gathering professions or i might ditch both depending on how profitable they are.
