With Shadowlands just a week away we shifted the wheel to say Shadowlands (crafting will need to roll again). Brain is new and is a native controller player and Chris has played every expansion but WOD and both share if now is a good time for new players or returning players (we assume current players were planning to play at this point). IS it worth it, will it be good, will it be bad. is it broken? Shadowlands leaves many questions unanswered but we think we know enough to tell you if you should play at launch.

You're representing me with the controller. It doesn't feel like a "game" to me on keyboard and mouse. That controller brings me back to being a kid on the couch playing SNES and that'll keep me playing for a lot longer. Keyboard and mouse is associated with school and work for me, can't chill.

What’s Chris channel ?
Im having a love hate relationship with WOW. Ive been playing it for a week after I watched Brian’s stream. Im guilty of expecting WOW to be like FF14 in term of story and other things I love about 14 that is affecting my enjoyment of the game. For example traveling in WOW is a freaking nightmare compared to 14. I have no clue what is a side quest and what is main quest. After Exile’s Reach which expansion Im playing? The map is kind of difficult to read sometimes there is no a clear path to get to where I want. If I die in game I get a debuff penalty of 8 minutes that anything on the map can one shot kill me and I just log off and call it for the day. After a week I still dont know how or why my character’s name doesn’t display on screen. I really want to like the game maybe I just need to keep playing.
I’m sorry I can’t 🥺 14 has my heart.
They pushed a hotfix patch last night. Full loop is now 3 hours and 20 mins. Rares spawn every 10 mins
Respect to those still playing WoW and I hope you’re enjoying the game.
But I won’t be joining you as I’m happy in my new world of Eorzea.
Not that I don’t miss Azeroth OR my mighty Tauren Shaman because I miss BOTH every day.
But I cannot forgive Blizzard and what they have done.
Simple As.
I am back in full force and reserved a spot for my ele shaman(or spot healer role) on my guild's raid team. I was really hesitant about playing wow in-general or being committed, because I wanted to play a plethora of games, which I did this year. As well, I missed a game community and my guild in WoW has been benchmark that I judged all other game communities.
The leveling experience to me now is like a greatest hits of nostalgia.
I just started playing FFXIV about 2 months ago after playing WoW for over 15 years. After 2 weeks of playing FFXIV I cancelled my Shadowlands pre-order and let my guild in Classic know I was leaving. No regrets! Not going back to World of Warcraft. I went back in and played the pre-patch stuff a few days ago since my sub was still active. Not impressed. No plans to go back. Loving FFXIV though!

FF14 lately disappointing so much with it's content, so our whole FC will go and play Shadowlands for a while
