Kind of, it’s more to explore the mechanic that is being exploited. Quests all over Warcraft have interested items that are given to you. Some can be sold, some can be exploited in different ways. There have been quests in the past that give you 10g+ items just from accepting a quest, just like here. Look around, you might find something you don’t expect 🙂
Will I get banned for this?
It’s extremely unlikely, but if you automate it and/or bot it, your chance greatly increases.

Probably not to both questions. You can test it if you’d like, but it’s more about helping you understand the mechanic and allow you to find something more powerful in the future.
