World of Warcraft Season of Discovery: Phase 7 has been revealed, bringing with it a bunch of new content to everyone’s “favorite” version of the game. In this new phase, Naxxramas is coming to Classic WoW, as well as a new dungeon that’s been teased since SoD was first announced: The Karazhan Crypts. At last, we’re going to see these Crypts in the manner they were intended – maybe.

Look, there’s a LOT of lore and WoW community driven discussion on the Karazhan Crypts; it’s been an ongoing thing for many years’ time now. And although Blizzard Entertainment has given some answers as to what the Karazhan Crypts were, or were intended to be, the mystery around this area of WoW still remains vague. Could this be the means of how we’ll at last attain the legendary Ashbringer? We will soon find out.

  6. Playing the CoA beta today.. I don't even know why people waste their time with SoD when private servers are doing all of this 100x better. And it's not one server it's multiple projects by different teams.

  7. brooo…you unlocked so many nostalgic memories of my friends and I watching youtube videos on late friday nights at my parents house…trying to understand wtf was going on with this place. Good old days. I was like…15 when all of this took place…so…like most teenagers who grew up playing Warcraft…we were obsessed for months 😂

Well according to lore (unless changed) beneth the Tower of Karazan is a mirror of the tower going deep into the earth where the deamons lurk that Medivh summoned when Sageras took over his body. All the greatest hooros you can imagine were in those dungeons beneath the tower. I think this was somewhere in the Book where Khadgar goes to Karasan to become Medivhs aprintice.

    As for the Ashbringer, it is known that you can go into the scarlet monestary with it to trigger an event. And when TBC came around you were able to see the creation of the Ashbringer to some extend in the Caverns of Time 1 Dungeon if you went to South Shore Tavern. So everybody was still locking for hints during TBC. Sadly I never had the (corrupted) Ashbringer until everybody got the artifact version in Legion.

  12. Wasn't that where you had to go to start the kara attunement quest during BC? I know it was not a raid or 5 man dungeon but it was full of mobs. It is basically diagonal from the Kara entrance. Also you could access crypts under kara from inside it but nothing was in it. Again this is all during BC.

  20. If they add it it has to be hard to get, first get Corrupted version, then start a long vhaìn that envolves exalted with the Argen Dawn, then make ir rwquire rare materials like Thunderfurry, rare mats that can only becobtained by the holder of the sword, as well as by others.
    As an example, Be a smith that can craft a specifit type of ingot that soulbound on craft and has a CD and requires mats from other profession, such as a special powder made by engeneers, arcane crystals that come from envhanters, the blood od dragons and demona collected by alch.etc.
    Maje ut a guild struggle to get the one guy his Ashbringger 😊. And add Mediv's staff too for casters, maybe throw shammans a bone by adding a lesser axe, maybe an ypgrade for Ghorehowl.

  34. In vanilla/classic wow we got in by dying at the door and rezzing on the other side. Not hard at all. One of the more fun places to visit, like exploring the mount Hyjal zone (there is a way you can jump up and over over the wall in southern winterfall, near where the closed gate is, and around the invisible wall just on the other side) and the summat and airfield of Iron forge (there's a spot right outside ironforge entrance where you can mount up and jump across a few impassable inclines without sliding down). There's tons of very cool spots to explore in classic. BTW, there's an easy one to get to. You know the bridge north of the wetlands right? Jump off swim east, follow coast north. Dwarf settlers just hanging out.
