This is my first ever attempt at making a video like this, and it took me AGES to make. It took a while to become (somewhat) efficient with the software used, and there was quite a lot of scope creep involved (I'd originally forseen the video being 20 minutes long max), but I'm really happy I got there in the end.
A significant limitation was having to make a video about an alive online world whilst showing only me the entire time. I hope it doesn't spoil the video too much.
It's a bit rough around the edges, I definitely think I messed up the audio levels, but overall I'm proud I actually managed to get it finished and uploaded!
Any questions? Ask away! Any feedback to give? Please do!
Great Video really enjoyed the narration and the way you described your travels. I remember the first time I did this quest very early back in the game. I spent ages perched on a rock over the ogre camp watching troop movements and picking the brutes off one by one to get to the crate. It was HARD but well worth it. Verigan's Fist is unlike any other weapon in its class level, it's basically a blue-coloured epic-level weapon. I've recently redone the quest a few times in both Classic and Classic Hard Core and still love the quest and the reward. If you can get the hammer in your early 20s it hits like a truck.
I had no idea the village changed from human to worgen
never did it, cause i already got [Gizmotron Megachopper] from Guild Bank, when a fellow pally was telling me what a legendary weapon he got)
dunno, having a cool looking sword enchanted with blue +dmg glow i thought to myself why even bother for an ugly mace
Well Barney doesn't upload much and madseason even less so. That means there is a nice big gap for a channel like this. Great video and I hope for many more like it! Other games included
Oy that SW music in IF
Takes me back to the first time doing Fire Hardened Mail and Whirlwind quests.
5:03 quality of blizzard servers…. I remember how on private server she actually used that gun to help player.
Love the music of GW1 🙂
Definitely my favorite mmo quest of all time, looking forward to experiencing it again in sod.
My man sneaking some Age of Mythology soundtrack in there, what a legend.
I did this quest.
Really sold me on the Paladin. Was eventually my main.
I was about to watch this but I am playing a paladin for my first time in sod so I think I’ll wait til after!
Sorry but I literally can't watch the video with its incredible sound level discrepancy. This can be easily fixed with compression.
man, age of mythology ost never fails to make me happy
No idea what quest I was doing when I started it but got that hammer and felt like 1 million dollars.
Great video. Concise, detailed, passion filled, informative all with very good quality and a personal touch. Liked and subbed, I will be watching your other videos over the next few days and look forward to your next release. Keep up the great work!
I definitely appreciate this video and the effort it took you to produce it.
Vanilla WoW and exploring the world with people as a kid was something entirely unique and special. Even having played things like Runescape prior, none of it had the immersion and community WoW did in those days.
I think Classic is great, but it really only captures a fraction of that. Vanilla was a product of its time and era in both the world and our childhoods.
Just did the whole quest in SoD in a single 7-hour sitting with my guildies
Love these kind of Wow stories from memory!
