  1. water change is good, its not a qol downgrade WTF… its a balance to mana users in pvp and strategy requirement in m+ clearly…. kinda of a cringe "i dont like this change" take…. seems good for competitive play 100%

  2. I think the borrowed power makes the game feel more episodic and you're more encouraged to swap mains, instead of having this really long journey and development of story with one main hero over several expansions. Not good or bad, just makes the initial experience a bit more jarring

  3. The borrowed power and the feel that 'everything is the same' is the reason why I stopped playing as much during Legion, why I didn't like BFA that much even though I feel like I should have, and am not interested in Shadowlands. There is too much gear, too many levels of items, and the difference in gameplay between low level mythics, island expeditions, world quests, and just leveling all feels like the same exact experience.

  4. Maybe jam in all that 'cut content' they have laying around from this go around and patch their way into a complete game that they once had in mind. Be nice to have a hell of a lot to do rather than sitting in town chat telling dad jokes.

  5. Pls don't give the employees a pass. They are still enabling these terrible business practices by activision by continuing to churn out IP while these changes are being implemented.

  6. So I’ve never said this before and when others have said I laughed (and rightly so) but now I feel quite safe saying blizzard and wow are dead, but this is a changeling situation or you could say zombie or demon possession (I’m thinking deadits from evil dead) aka the body is dead but it’s still moving around looking like your friend but you can see it’s not quite right, it’s saying odd things and it’s moving more like a puppet.

Yes there will still be a Company called blizzard and there will still be a game called wow but it won’t be the same and the infection is only going to get worse.

On a brighter note I think DreamHaven will have a lot more hiring options open to them (sadly I think it’s going to have more people wanting to work there than it has positions)

  7. 21:00 ok so I can fix the whole borrowed power thing, are you ready for the big secret Blizz?

Just let the players keep it! Does that mean that the player becomes over powered? Yes for Azeroth, superman is a god on earth but when he goes to other places and encounters other entities that are on his level he is no longer op, if he goes back to Earth the whole world feels like it’s made of cardboard, if a player goes back to a starter zone at max level they should not be challenged by what was a level 8 wolf when they are something like level 140, the wolf should become a none hostile mob as it looks at the player who is wearing so much armour they look more like a tank than a human or is literally cracking with raw magical power and the wolf goes “”actually I’m suddenly not hungry, I’ll wait for the next guy””

  8. I'd be totally fine with just getting a new AP style ability tree with every expansion…NOT tied to my gear, that's only actiive when you're IN that expansion, that doesn't go away at the end of the expansion.

  9. I have a very daring idea for Blizzard: maybe stop making players into "the most powerful being" and "the greatest champion" of their faction. Just give them powers that make sense or signature moves from iconic characters of their class. I felt closer to Thassarian as a deathknight by having a talent named after him then actually doing stuff alongside him in Legion.
The players being a serious force doesnt align with anything in the actual world which is why this power always has to go away. So maybe just drop this illusion entirely and spare us more of those cringy N'zoth endings please, because they F-ING SUCK A**.

  10. Not giving my money to Activision Blizzard anymore. They have driven off most if not all of the people that once made this game great and have started selling us the same damn game over and over with a shiny new coat of paint so we don't notice. Same reason I quit pokemon. If you're not willing to do something new and push the boundaries of what you can make then I'm not willing to pay full price for the same game. Vote with your money! It's the only thing these soulless cooperate sellouts listen to.

  11. I hate the new lore. I'm so against it I'm writing a campaign that will diverge from the game after Wrath. The fall of Sylvanas was just as disappointing and random as Denaerys gong crazy. Bad writing is bad writing. And as a fan you don't have to accept it, write your story, they can't ruin it. It will always be yours.

  12. They should have never gotten rid of legendaries and just continued them through bfa. They might have had to balance them, but it was a huge exhaustion of value to deactivate them. And look, they are letting you craft legendaries now… that feels to me like defeat/bankruptcy

  13. I'm pretty annoyed there isn't a troll-themed afterlife.
    1. If you count the elves as trolls, pretty much half of the lore's noteworthy races would understandably go to the same afterlife since they have a shared biology.
    2. They have multiple loa/gods responsible for death.
    3. I play a troll mage.
    4. We just had an entire expansion about how significant trolls are for the history of Azeroth as one of the setting's only naturally created sentient races and would be a natural transition for the NOT Sylvanas part of BFA.
    5. It would be a great way to introduce Elune into the forefront of the story.

  14. Great video! Now I'm thirsty. I wonder what buff we'll get in exchange for water nerfs, these things always seem to "balance" out. -Says the Druid healer after seeing these nerfs.

Remember that the Versailles office had some top dollar rent, of all locations the highest. It's understandable why they cut that for that reason, if they had to make cutbacks at all, which they didn't.

  15. Blizzard is a stupid ass company at this point. I canceled my subscription because their lack of passion for the games they make. Seriously looking forward to what the ORIGINAL CEO of blizzard has brewing with his new studio. At this point might as well just call them Activision.

  16. I wish they would get rid of the borrowed power systems… and focus on the classes…. That's what i remember being so great about Wotlk. You could lvl a guy and all you needed to do was grind some battlegrounds and in a week or 2 you'd have a full pvp set. There was no grinding for borrowed power, just gems and enchants. You could grind rep for better ones but wasn't necessary to compete. Who wants to grind for countless hours on each character just to get these borrowed power so they can compete…It takes enough time just to get the gear. The more alt friendly the better imo… I feel that the decline of WoW is due to these borrowed power systems and that these systems will inevitably kill WoW….

  17. if they make gushing wound deal 1k dmg per second than 10k. its fine. or just disable all borrowed power in rated pvp. idc if pvers r doing 10billion dmg on bosses, i dont give a sht.

  18. Curious if we will be going back to T-Set system. You then can still add some minor "borrowed" powers and remove them etc. But the red line should be something that can be built upon, instead of needing removal.

  19. The only way expansion-only class abiltiies could be used only in the expansion zones – is by allowing you to then have your BfA abilties in BfA, your Legion Artifacts at full Power in Legion zones, etc. OR, even simpler – just make good baseline classes WITHOUT the need for Borrowed power.

  20. At this point i would be happy to send Dreamhaven a couple of hundred dollars and a letter saying ill take whatever you come up with. It would be a wiser use of money than giving any more to Activision.
