We watched it a couple more times on stream and some takeaways:
The repeated line "would I have done it differently" is just incredible – you KNOW the answer is no. This is who she is. She's a warrior, through and through and will fight for her loved ones no matter what.
I think this is more to show her state of mind so we don't really need to see that her and Turalyon are no longer quite at odds like this feels like it depicts.
This was my first ever viewing of it, I've watched it many times now and definitely see some things I didn't the first time! Let's talk about it!

Alleria and Turalyon Legion-fighting scene happens during the called "Thousand Years of War" when the time got altered many time due the fights on Twisting Nether.
This is explained on the audio-novel "A Thousand Years of War" written by Robert Brooks and narrated by Steven Pacey. This chronologically falls between his expeditionary march to Outland and his inter-dimensional travels and his encounters with the Army of Light. In that fight it is the first time that she manifests her power with the void, it is not until the Legion campaign that we accompany Alleria in her strongest empowerment with the absorption of Naaru.
Hope this helps. It is explained in this novel that evidently the first time there was a rift with Turalyon, but they ended up facing it together.
This bit of her in new armor is just happening now. Just before this, she talked with Kadgar about "the Harbinger" and the players did a short quest chain with her to find out who the harbinger is, only to learn that it's Xal'atath from Locus Walker.

Alleria first gained her void powers when she was on a small Legion prison world where all the demons there were permanently dead due to the void. It is said while she was searching for any survivors, the void itself attacked her and started to give her visions. She was thrilled with the voids ability to perma-kill demons and started to obsess over learning everything she could about the void. It was much later that she trained with the locus walker and absorbed a corrupted Nayru.
I think these are meant to be memories, and some of the images symbolic. We know her void transformation involved a process of learning with Locus Walker.
Massive vox machina vibe from this animation style and Travis's voice always bis. Would love to see a whole story arch/series for wow in animation.
I think what we see in the cinematic is the birth of the power, an infant power she has come grip over but no control. Fast forward to legion and Locus Walker and what we see with her is less of a literal transformation, and more of a "You are an apprentice, now you must transform into a master" or a "You are strong, now become stronger and transform into your new power" kind of thing. The end is clearly what shes doing right now before the xpan based solely on the armor, so obviously she took Locus Walker's advice about "getting good" and is training and growing while we are busy finishing remix lol
I don't really think they're trying to say they're not on good terms again. She's just wondering how things would be different if she made a different decision. Her hiding all of the void stuff from Turalyon was a big deal in their relationship, and it absolutely altered their course. Her deception will always stick with Turalyon.
