We had a good laugh this week with the last few friends who still play wow at how people parrot how blizzard is finally talking to us. Some of us have leveled new classes to 60 only to get randomly without announcement xp boost drop, we would have waited if we knew it was coming… Then we let the new chars collect dusts, because it would be stupid to buy legendaries only to replace them in few weeks with new higher ilvl, only for blizzard come week before the end of the season to tell us there is no legendary ilvl increase. Trully feels great to have blizzard constantly throwing obstacles at you even when they for once make a good decision, they just cant resist to fuck you over by at least not telling you…
I won’t be surprised if everything fun about DF will nerfed and stripped down by launch so it’s just frustrating and clunky

If they ever did remake WoW from the beginning I would really want to see the heathstone book of mercenaries worked into the story as an overarching questline all throughout your leveling that ultimately connects with the existing endgame onyxia attunement questline.

Ret is a at a 4/10 right now because some things need moving to different spots on the tree. The general paladin tree, however, needs a near-total rework as it makes no sense and guts the class' kit for no reason.
As a Holy Paladin, if Blizzard doesn't give us a new Shockadin build then I'm gonna riot. Just a little bit.

Okay poke snap and rock climbing. Cool, WHY DO WE NOT HAVE JUMPING PUZZLES AS EVENTS DAMMIT?!?!?!? private servers have had them forever.
For instance, maybe sometimes in Dalaran youll see a message on the screen, (mana elementals seem to be stealing and causing trouble. And you just see tables chairs and mismatch objects floating, as almost a stair case to the spires of Dalaran. Reach the top get a cool cosmetic. Make some directions false directions that break at the end and drop you. Jump puzzles require no lore, no reasoning, just fun. Shit make them accessible at all times and start adding one per zone. Idk, wow is just the perfect game for them imo, at least when it comes to current mmorpgs IMO GW2 jumping is too generous, wpnt even be technically touching an object but technically standing on it (floating above it) GW2 puzzles still fun tho. FF14 is honestly too stiff for to be fun. WoW jumping feels just right. Oh and puzzles lock you into humanoid form(druids) you can only jump once(dhs) and no glides/teleports/leaps can be used while in the jumping puzzle
I like how hearthstone got Gnome Paladin before WoW….

Yeah, the mage talent calculator felt really bad. Granted, I only checked out fire because I hate arcane and frost but I had to take literally my entire rotation besides Fireball as a talent and then there's a stupid amount of modifiers to those talents.

Ofc wotlk is not good for no one, the time you start admiring your character so much as in classic wow for a piece of a gear, you know something is not quite right, classic destroyed my sense of reality because I got hooked in that virtual world like in no other game, I just realized that now, I played tbc as a kid and I was hooked the same way, and that's not good for no one. If I start playing classic I know that I won't be going out and I will be hooked on wow like in the past, that's why I will be wise and avoid that fked up situation with classic where everyone is inside virtual world and they treat their characters as it is of some importance of surviving (like salary), I don't want game to feel like that to me, that's why I am okay with retail, game should feel like a game, the time you cross that line, you have to admit to yourself that you did something wrong. You should not feel weird IRL because of a virtual world.

by changing the leveling system they completely ruined the game. they took away a coherent storyline that takes you through the whole story, vanilla to now, and turned it into a funnel to level 60 and an extremely heavy influence and advertising for 25 dollar mounts and as many micro transactions as they can get out of you on top of the 15 a month. blizzard has a sickness in it. its called greed.
