Kelani. You missed the point about the drinking nerf. A lot of people have. Mana potions exist. Mana potions have become completely useless because there was no need for them at all. This isn't a nerf to healers, it's a buff to alchemy. Drink a mana pot, get an instant boost of mana. That's the point of the drinking change.
Just. Get. Rid. Of. Extra. Systems. And. Bring. Back. Tier. Sets.
I wouldn't mind having to have a grind back in the game to level, because that would make it feel like you're earning it and the game pre raid release wont be as stagnant
I'd rather it be on the bottom, it gives you something to look forward to and motivates you to get there.
I like the idea of starting off with the "signature talent" for the soulbind. Not sure how long it would take to unlock the last talent if you're capped on weekly renown. Question: Will renown progress be account wide? if I decide to put another toon in the same covenant, what will happen?
As a healer main I am 50/50. I like the drink changes because I no longer need to spend a retarded amount of gold on things like feast that I have to use constantly because of the chain pulling. The studder drinking was annoying and unfun gameplay not to mention costly since you typically were using more expensive food/drink like these feasts that were nerfed. On the other hand I do think it is going to be a nightmare for the first few months with pugs until tanks realize they are going to need to watch the healers mana and give them time to drink. I mean for set groups and guilds you will have things like discord so it won't really be an issue to communicate things and deal with it.
I could be wrong, but at this point they could have added another raid or zone with how much time they've waisted with this borrowed power system
I hope you, or someone, makes a video explaining WTF are Soulbinds/Covenant Abilities/Legendary powers. And how they relate to one another. I mean are they independent systems and progression trees, or what?
Get it early, the game is already grindy and not in a good way.
All of these constant changes don't instill a lot of confidence
They've put so much time and effort into fixing soulbinds and covenants…. If they'd had and pulled a ripcord, they would have fixed all of it. They're just now realising the inherent problems with the system that most people noticed as soon as we got beta access.
Hope everyone's enjoying waiting for the expansion while Blizzard fixes stuff that never needed to be a problem.
to all the people saying "wow more grinding?" you know that people would be complaining just as much if it was not grindy, and super easy requiring no effort.
Kelany
I think the changes to soul binds is a good one. Its good for your alts as well, at least you can start with the main ability 🙂
The slower drinking thing should only apply in PvP. Unless they plan on bringing mana pots back for PvE.
the water thing might be to slow mythic+ runs with the least effect elsewhere
People are going to start drinking mana pots on cool down.
Bet they nerf the leveling at least 2 more times lol
I think it's absolutely best to get the most impactful stuff first in stuff like the soulbinds. Sucks to level all the way to the end just to realize the BIG end reward doesn't feel so good for you.
So Blizzard just doesn't want healers to enjoy this game huh
Yet another system with no feeling of progress when you play longer. Amazing
It's amazing how much dev time they have put in a system that the majority didn't even ask for and don't like.
MY FEASTSSSSSSSSSSSSS WTFFFFFF
R.I.P fish feast stackers rofl!!
I kind of like the soulbind change, but with one additional change.. I would like a final nice end bonus for completing the progression with either something very cool for end game powerfulness or reward be a retro boost to all those minors along the way upgraded as a final reward
the entire system is junk and is going to mess up the game… again. simple as that
This latest patch is horrible. The servers are going offline for hours. I would like to play the game that I pay for. Customer service is a joke and insulting. They just can't keep the game running and they simply don't care about paying customers. I cancelled my account and will find another game to play and is not owned by Activision Blizzard.
Is it just me or is the audio clipping..or is it some other bug.. I'm mirroring youtube from phone to chromecast.
I know the delay is a good thing for the game but honestly it just made me flip over to Classic to kill time then realize I like Classic significantly more than retail. At this point there is a very low chance of be picking up this expansion. i'll probably just keep playing Classic
