Asmongold is extremely glad Blizzard finally took actions against Multiboxers in World of Warcraft both for Retail and Classic. After the update to their policies, Blizzard will be able to take actionable offense against input broadcasting software which allows a single keystroke to be automatically mirrored to multiple game clients. This decision couldn’t come at a better time with the Shadowlands expansion to release in a few weeks…

I'm sure this is going to bring people back as well. You might argue that the game is meh, but I have friends who quit simply because of the amount of multi-boxers, and they are sure to come back now that it's bannable

16 years … and people still jumping to conclusions… They ARE NOT banning multiboxing nor making it an actionable offense, just the input broadcast software that is often used for multiboxing. Ignore the comments from the Wowhead writer as he is not a Blizzard employee and those are just his opinions and interpretation. Read the actually Blizzard post. In reality this change is aimed at those who use this software for botting, in addition to other software, as well I would think as those who abuse multiboxing, i.e. 40 man multiboxers who want to go into warmode and disrupt entire zones and the like. That being said there are and have been hardware alternatives to using software for multiboxing since Vanilla. I have already seen quite a few people redo their setup and already sucessfully multiboxing using hardware and not violating the new change.
Yes this will make it more difficult to enter the world of multiboxing as it will increase the learning curve, increase costs for additional equipment, etc. However this change will not stop people from multiboxing. it should help though to curb the abuses that some were doing.
Lastly, if they really wanted to make multiboxing no longer viable, you know besides just coming out and saying multiboxing is no longer allowed, all they would have to do is to remove /follow… That’s it… it would become pretty much pointless at that point. Sure a few would still try but the viability to do anything of interest or importance would be gone.
Also Blizzard knows all of this, and has the entire time…
i guess is time to sub to wow again, even tho i got some of the rarest mounts in wow i quited cause AH sucked so badly and i was gathering materials and got nothing from it.

Economy inflation is definitely big in Classic WoW (havent played retail since Cata). So for example, Essence of Water is going for 8g 47s on Myzrael. Whats everyone else's server economy like?
