  1. For PVP, some implementation of these addons to the customizable interface would be perfect:

    OmniCD
    BigDebuffs
    Gladius
    omnibar/nameplatecooldowns/something to track enemy cds

that's literally it. everything else is extraneous.

  2. Ban addons already. Details – better gladius – better naneplate with important tracking and the Ui more like starcraft – squared and clean. No setup – no refresh – ez plug and play – thats it thats all

  3. I really love my NON COMBAT addons. If they could split this difference, it would be the best outcome. And Plater bc that’s the best thing ever. Maybe they’ll implement the Plater stuff. If can’t have my addons that modernize the interface for me, I’ll probably NEVER play this old game. WeakAuras, Omni, etc can go tho. bye bye.

  4. Remove the ability to have Addons enabled for rated content. Make them only usable outside rated content (mythic, heroic, rated PVP).
Addons become training wheels. They would naturally become designed in a way to make players less reliant on them while still keeping functionality that makes them so useful for every other facet of the game

  5. If you'd just stop being so fucking lazy, Blizzard, and just put these addons into the game as a feature, you wouldn't have to constantly rely on the addon community to do what you wouldn't pay for someone else to do. Then you steal it as your own and ruin their work? It's like you're getting us to beta test and debug your game for free while you benefit. Who are you, Bethesda?

  6. Addons can only show you what is happening in the game. They cannot move your character, they cannot press a spell.
Seeing what is happening in the game is a PREREQUISITE to playing the game.

Same retardation as when they removed the fov slider. Seeing the game is a prerequisite to playing. If you think addons are cheating then you should turn off your monitor because seeing the game is also cheating.

  7. Have no idea why they didn't break addons a decade before – all add-ons do is create more work for them and triple the difficulty of designing challenging raid encounters all the while leaving behind any who don't adopt them. It also has enabled some of their worse instincts to overcomplicate classes. Remember back in BC when Warlocks had a 1 button rotation? Remember when Warriors could be played on a SNES controller? The game was still fun. We don't nessecarily need to go back to that level of simplicity, but TWW is just absurdly overdesigned at every level, in no small part thanks to addons that have enabled it.

  8. Removing DBM style addons alone could make raiding and dungeons 100x harder and actually more engaging

Since they have raid bars and pvp bars for arena in default… its fine for me to roll with 0.

    Isn't AWC 0 addons anyways ???
