  1. In whole 30 min video about gear you never mention real reason for not getting 580+ upgrade.
You dont want to upgrade adventurer gear past 580 or 4/8 because crests have seasonal cap, you want to wait for higher tier gear to spend crests on that.

  2. Valorstones are very easily farmed from wax. Go to Hallowfall, fly around farms, turn in at Gundargaz. I've gotten to ilvl 585 on multiple toons and capped valorstones for the coming season with 300+ wax still in bag ready to turn in.

  3. no, sorry, it is actual horse shit that the full campaign and Earthern weren’t available on launch. Early access I get, but launch, come tf on. I’m ilvl 582 and have done 4/5 of the campaign and gotten Loremaster achieve, if this were another game and it didn’t have the full campaign on release, people would be shitting themselves

  4. If you're watching a video about WoW during an expansions release chances are you're a pretty serious player and these videos about min/maxing are not really out of the ordinary. No one told you to nolife wow, and no one's telling you to minimax for a Pre-Patch, relax guys

  5. Something big worth mentioning if you plan to Min-Max. You can get ilvl 606 gear crafted using sparks. Why is this important? Well, the amount of crests you can obtain is timegated. HOWEVER if you equip an item that is higher level in a slot (both slots for rings/trinkets) You no longer need to spend the crests to get TO that level in that slot, meaning you can save 30 weathered crest and 60 Carved crests per slot that you've equiped a crafted 606 piece of gear in.

So for instance, lets say I've never upgraded my belt. Normally, it would take me 60 crests to level a 571 belt to 593, if I craft an enchanted harbinger crest (30 crests) and get a crafted 593 piece with that, I can then equip any 571 belt and level it to 593 without spending any aditional crests, meaning I've now got 30 more crests than the average joe that leveled his armor nomally.
same applys with sparks and crafted 606 gear for the higher crests.

  6. Nobody seems to be pointing this out.. Crests are capped yes. However if you are in a pinch, and you would just die to get that one final upgrade, and you need a few crests, the renown rewarded crests, DO NOT count under the cap. i was at my weekly cap this week and last week, and both times as i got renown to the required place, i still received my crests. i got a LOT of crests over cap with this.

  7. That’s great and all but the chances of finding a crafter that can do 590 on most pieces is slim to none this early especially when the crafting order system is still dog shit and requires you to spam trade chat because open orders is still locked to base I level , absolutely hate the new crafting system for the love of god let us post the quality of item we want in a open order system for anyone to grab the fact we still have to find someone to craft gear with this new system is dog shit and defeats the whole purpose
