Dragonflight FINISHED! Was it GOOD? Patch 10.2.5 | World of Warcraft Dragonflight

Wrapped up some questlines from Patch 10.2 and Patch 10.2.5 in World of Warcraft Dragonflight. In these quests, Wrathion and I find homes and free the remaining disparate dragon tribes and welcome them to the Dragon Isles. With that, it seems like the game delivered its final concluding message from the Dragonflights. Some other cleanup quests remain, but I take this opportunity to reflect on whether Dragonflight was a good or bad expansion. Let me know if the comments if you agree with my take.

  1. I have to say that the overall story for dragonflight was amazing, but they unfortunately rushed so many great potential aspects and some of the cut scenes were poorly made compared to past expansions. The cinematic with Iridikron and Vyranoth was well done though. It gave us a small hint into us entering the new expansion.

I think they still might add a bit more to the story for the expansion though. Probably Tyr introducing what the voice is in the war within. I doubt DF will just be left aside story wise. My theory is that after the war within we come back to the dragonflights either being nearly extinct or them fighting what appeared after we left the surface.

I'm just glad wow's storytelling is improving and I have great hope for it to get even better with the next triology.

Thanks for the great catch up video. Love the voice overs!

  2. I just got into WoW again about two weeks ago after not playing since Cataclysm. I'm enjoying it but the sheer amount of clutter on my map as soon as I logged in was like wooooaaahhh… I hope to get back into raiding sometime. Are raiding guilds even a thing anymore? Seems like you can find a group for anything with the dungeon finder.
