what changed? first of all, ring of fire did receive a nerf a while ago that did make it significantly weaker, but we stayed it because there wasn’t really an obvious stronger pick. i always shit on flamecannon because i hated how it changed something in ur head, made u play differently to try and maintain stacks, so i stayed ring of fire for the longest time out of comfort.

i noticed in 3s and in 2s that trying to include RoF into the rotation felt clunky at times and felt like a dmg loss overall if it didn’t go global perfect

what is flamecannon?

flamecannon adds a significant damage increase to your already hard hitting abilities, and saves you a global to place rune way more consistently, which adds up to WAY more damage than you would receive if you only casted RoF

main usage: BIG DAM
-stand still while bursting
-show dmg difference clips
-show some damage clips where we kill through everything

when to intentionally play around it
-before a go (if possible, it’s sort of greedy to try to pre stack it because if u ruin the go
because of it, it obviously wasnt worth it)
-it does stack while u are db sheeping which is good ramp up dam, try not to move if possible after this
-you can almost even build a more powerful “2nd bust” with it
-can shifting fb stacks back and swap someone else with a “2nd bust” (usually going to be the target you db shept cuz no stun dr)

when to let it do its work passively
-not letting it affect ur pre-running
-defensively,
-it will build up during stuns.
-will build up extra hp behind a pillar

tips & tricks
-longer flamestrike to keep stealthies
-using mobility does not count as moving
-make a weakaura/TMW to keep track
-you have 5s, 4s to move. if u move at all during the third second, you will most likely lose all ur stacks
