The hearthstone, your very first item you will ever obtain that every player obtains, ). As Well as the most important item in every player’s bag. This item for those of you who don’t know, when used and after a short cast time, teleports you to your home inn, which you can set anywhere you wish, as long as there is an innkeeper there to accept your hearth.

boss making u to HS out if not interrupted would be a nice mechanic xD
Is it just me, or did he forget the guild cape?
11:52 "bruh can you not? I'm trying to film a video"
During wod. Hellfire citadel was so close to the alliance garrison that my shaman used to avoid wipes and repair costs by Astral recalling and just flying back to the dungeon before the gm realized I was missing lol. You could get the cast time very low with enough haste. And in mythic gear you had atleast 50%
may i suggest, a History of Inscription, Last Main proffession added in the game, yet changed quickly because "we will just give everyone the effects of all glyphs created in this proffession and just make this proffession way worse, while other proffessions get a Tons of very nice mounts and cosmetic items along very usefull to play items"
imagine the venthyr hearthstone with demon hunter, which as you know have green tattoos and having greenish warglaives.
I love your video’s ❤️
Wait what kind of Video editor do you use??? That is top notch editing! I love this video btw. Learning about something that we new so little about is nice, it makes me feel smarter lol.
In Classic, there was an UI help option for getting yourself unstuck if you ever got stuck somewhere in the world. It would have a long cast time and just use your hearthstone, but with not casting animation.
I think if the heathstone was in cooldown it would try to do something else, but it's been a while 😛
What about the cloaks that teleport you to the capital cities? Wouldn’t that count?
Just curious Astral recall was mentioned but why weren't Zen pilgrimage, death gate, or the druid one mentioned (I guess technically they aren't hearthstones but they still tp'ed you to a rested area).
Whats the song used in the background??
Tome of Town Portal actually does have a difference from the normal hearthstone, though you need to listen for it. Instead of the normal lightshow and sound effects, the Tome of Town Portal has a soft windchime type sound effect while slightly dampening other sounds. I would have thought they would have added a Diablo style portal… but windchimes are still better than nothing.
Great vid as Always !
Where do i know this music from?
Yo I'm loving these history of videos. 💕
I like the DnD reference on Mountebank's Colorful Cloak lmao
Forgot the Last Relic of Argus.
How many of us vanilla players used this excuse. Sorry my HS is on cool down lol.
The Diablo event hearthstone toy is a bit cosmetic as well, since it plays a diablo soundtrack while casting.
The scrolls had no down side. I LOVED porting random places
The bug with Mists making a player Heartstone out of the dungeon… what kind of group lets the boss cast parasite? It's like, the one thing you need to interrupt.
I still have 9 scrolls of town portal, and never got the last one. Sad
11:50 bro that ghost slapped the everliving fuck out of you
I still to this day always use Tome of the Town Portal.
I remember playing during one of the first christmas events, when the snowballs would knock players over. There was a max-level dwarf hanging out in Goldshire doing some RP shit with a lower level player. After they were done he was attempting to hearth out and a player in the ninja costume kept hitting him with snowballs, knocking him over and interrupting the hearth. I spent 30 minutes choking on tears watching this man terrorize a max level player. It even interrupted talking to NPC's so he couldn't get away with flight masters. The only reason he got away was he juked him around the fishing building next to the murloc lake and got on a mount and took off. It was the funniest thing i've ever seen and i've never been more disappointed when they nerfed the snowballs.
It's a fun feature that does nothing but annoy people during a special event, who cares?
I used Blessed Medallion of Karabor back in TBC to get back to Outlands, kind of a HS 🙂
At one point there was a Paladin glyph that cut in half the casting time of the Hearthstone if used when the bubble was activated first. It was removed but the effect was made baseline, and it's still active today.
Been playing since vanilla and never knew about hearthing back in the same position and direction you bind to
In HOTS, yrel has a bubble hearth talent that allows her to go back to spawn and become invincible. Yrel even BMs and waves at the enemy team lol
The talent does suck tho 😆.
I'm surprised that you didn't mention the old versions that would go to different places. So you can have three Hearthsones in your bag plus the one to the garrison shipyard that is on a different cooldown.
Gotta say, this video makes me REALLY appreciate Teleport and Return in XIV
I have long since deleted my hearthstone just due to having so many toy versions
My human lv 1 warrior has his heartstone as the dwarf/gnome starting area – I t sometimes did happen if you do the quest of other races
So I will never change this warriors hearthstone. (He is levellocked and I did all the quest he could do before Bfa as lv1Since he is on Argent Dawn RP this might come useful )The original Hearthstone is something that's become a lot more common in game design – an on-player-demand anti-softlock measure. Blizzard was aware their terrain wasn't perfect, and it was occasionally possible to get stuck in places, completely unable to escape. I got stuck in a little hole in Ashenvale once, for example. So rather than sweep through the whole geometry of the game, purging all potential for getting stuck and then STILL not being completely sure you've covered it all, they just gave the player a way to get themselves unstuck on demand. Pretty smart, and saves a lot of GM time getting players unstuck.
Necrolord Vulpera Shamans: I am the god of teleportation.
I wonder if there's any lore mention of the Hearthsteed, the horse made of Hearthstones. Or atleast, that's my headcannon for it's origins
thats how they optimizing the fun of the game – by making travelling faster.
Time to update the video with the TBC Classic "Dark Portal Pack" hearthstone…
the kyrian hearth had the wrong covenant icon, but 9.1 fixed it!
Aren't you getting tired of talking about this shit that everyone knows by this point? 😮
I like the D&D references in the Mountebank's cloak.
– My Demon Hunter's hearthstone is still set to the gates of Stormwind. My Hunter's hearthstone is set to an alternate version of Redridge Mountains that is only for one questline. And since I'm not on the quest, I don't get teleported back when I get out of range, so I can explore a whole alternative Eastern Kingdoms.
– God I loved the Astonishingly Scarlet Slippers. It was instant cast and you could use it during combat. Fantastic escape option. Though I was asked during raids to only use it on the last pull of the night, since it does take some time to summon me back.
I liked the ruby slippers because the cast bar said no place like home on it.
really wished the covenant hearthstones ported us to the covenant bases
Vulpira shaman necrolord thats 4 hearth stones god damn
So what you're saying is that a vulpera shaman from maldraxxus has the shortest hearthstone cooldown, Neat!
Gots me the innkeeper's daughter.
I used to have piles of fun with my low level scrolls of recall just to explore the world and see where it would take me
6:28 – 6:31 there's something so funny about forcing a player to hearthstone being considered a worse fate than literally dying. Maybe it wasn't a bug and the bosses were just 200 IQ
