  1. I have been playing Hades a lot lately, and the runs that are the most fun are the ones where I end up with such crazy powers I'm just slicing through the later enemies super easily. So I hope they keep the tuning that makes the early floors difficult but then you can end up feeling really powerful towards the end. I'm not on the beta so I'm excited to get into Torghast and give it a shot in a couple of weeks though

  2. Honestly, i like the thought of the hardest difficulties being a proper Magetower like solo challenge where you actually have to know the mechanics of each enemy and think and strategize. Sounds like a ton of fun challenge for those of us who love solo play in WoW. It reminds me of way back when 25hc LK was super hard and only hunters, locks and blood DK's could solo it, but just barely and only when done perfectly. That was such an awesome niche part of the game, and i hope Torghast can scratch that itch for me.

  3. I enjoyed the initial progress through Visions alot. This seems to have a similar challenge atleast in the first few weeks. With the added improvement of not having a "timer" so you aren't rushed artificially by sanity.

In regards to groups, currently the mobs seem to scale rather hard in group formats with their hp going up more than linearly. Also the mobs get a stacking buff that if it reaches 10 stacks they become CC and interrupt immune. So as a group you can cover all the CC but you are definatly on a timer to kill them before immune.

Overall, I'm really looking forward to try this on the frost mage 🙂

  4. its interesting that you say being a priest was the only way to kill that pack. i created a 150 paladin yesterday and ive been pushing though to layer 8. there have been a few times where the only reason ive been able to kill a pack is because i was a paladin
