Seems like Frost Death Knights are being hit with rounds of nerfs, which does not bode well for the spec. After having every aspect of the spec nerfed, from Covenants, Legendaries, and baseline spells, it’s hard to stay hopeful that Frost DK will perform at a top level.

These items starting to not feel legendary at all.
I believe it was due to Obliteration outpacing BoS. They wanted to equal the playstyles out more, which in my opinion is weird, due to the fact we're in the middle of the pack. Hopefully it'll be a DT situation where they revert the changes.
Its ptr and its prepatch. Its going to be ok.
Patch is comming up YEAH, BUT everybody knows that prepatch is always this unstable and shitty. Thats how it is and it's how it's always been.

DKs are already not doing good in shadowlands based on numbers and yet they are nerfing a lot of legendaries and skills. I dont get why they are soing this while some specs that are way better are getting buffed.
I really wanted to play DK as my main-alt in shadowlands next to my mage. I love the theme of the class, I like how it plays overall and the mechanical changes in shadowlands looked very promising, but I don't really care about having fun when my dps is around tank on the meters. We can only pray that they will tune all of this back up during the release. 🙁

obliteration frost was not even that strong. I agree the main damage came from obliterates .. but that was the fun of it. Big juicy crits. It was still in the middle of the pack when it comes to pve dps performance. In pvp it could deal some good burst but again.. it was nowhere near what some other classes can do. What im feeling is again someone of blizzard looking at numbers without playing the class and decides to "fix" something. Or maybe is just a prepatch change because the new icecap could have been very fun build with working icy citadel and frostwhelps. But i guess they wont let us have fun at the end of the expansion. I realy hope pillar nerf is reverted. Oblitaration spec will be dead if that stays like that.

I'm starting to think they make the classes that little kids play op and nerf the classes adults plays just so kids will wanna play more…like their own kids said daddy please make my Hunter do more damage 🤣
The tuning is far from over. Lets hope the final tuning number is not as bad as it looks. But for now in beta, there are few specs outperforming the rest of the specs so much in every way. Sadly, Dks are just not even close to compete with those top specs.

They have decided that they made a mistake by bringing the best dps two handed frost so they just don't want to bring back the subscribers that play two handed
If any of these changes go live, I am not going to play Shadowlands. I have played DH for the last 2 expacs and this was the one I wanted to main a DK. But this is just wrong. I literally will not play Shadowlands if they do this.

Just give up Blizzard and bring on TBC Classic, retail with its itemization(which is super boring), pointless legendaries, useless professions and 10000 passive procs from items and casino-like loot system. Stop it and try to recreate good MMORPG system as it was in Vanilla, TBC and WoTLK. This is just awful and all this covenant bullshit looks dumb and uninteresting as well.

Obviously they are changing it more than this. If the dmg is bad after the fact it will get buffed. Dk community needs to chill tf out lol
You should all complain in blizzard's forum, that will be the only way to get this nerft reverted, let's gank up blizzard forums my fellow DKs
I'm just hoping that things are being being balanced around the legendary borrowed power. I'd rather weaken the power and balance the spec. Don't need my strength to come from borrowed power only after I hit cap and grind. I want my frost fun with or without the borrowed power.

I really hope so that they will buff frost spec or at least reverse last nerf's, playing frost since wotlk, had really rough time with it at TOS, and now where i had high hope for DK's to be in meta cause of LK death, etc…, blood is fun at start later not really, Fdk or UHdk please buff one of spec to do decent dmg
Do have it rough in this expansion, Bolvar got manhandled by Sylvanas and now the nerfs.
