  1. Krimson KB when seeing the Jailer: "Thanos"
And there you just in one word, said what is wrong with the Jailer and Sylvanas, Mawsworn and pretty everything else in this expansion….Thanos. Blizzard want their own Thanos, and everything in the Franchise must be conected to the Jailer, just like Thanos, they wanted a freaking endgame. Problem is…Marvel was smart enought to hype Thanos for nearly a decade. Blizzard wasn't. Another franchise who screwed itself just because they tried to copy the Marvel formula WITHOUT doing the Marvel formula

Also, Krimson KB: "I can't even take this seriusly…."
You are not the only one…

  2. Honestly I wasn't even fond of Shadowlands aesthetically, it just isn't my cup of tea. Hell I preferred BfA's overall aesthetics over that of SL.
Hell BfA was genuinely more fun than Shadowlands, terrible story and lore aside!

  4. Meh….despite the so-called hype of this new zone, I wasn't really feeling it. I think I'm getting a tad tired of these off-world ethereal existing planes/zones of existence, and want to go back to some relevant normalcy back on Azeroth. Can't wait for the next expansion and good bye to Shadowlands. Started off good, but got too contrived in the long run. All the nonsense that was going on at Blizz also didn't help, but I digress…🙄

  5. Here's one of my biggest issues with Zereth Mortis:

When it was revealed my gut reaction was "Metrica Province?". Say what you will about the story the game the company I still believe the artists are better than a cheap GW2 knockoff

  6. Truth is, Shadowlands was already a repeat of the mistakes they did in WoD and BfA, that's why i left. I said to my friends in WoW during the end of BfA, i was already pissed with Blizz for a lot of stuff (but i stayed bc of my guild full of friends), that Shadowlands would be the last chance Blizz got with me, they dropped the ball and i was gone.

  8. To be completely honest, Shadowlands has felt worse than BFA and even WoD ever felt for me.
The lore has been complete and utter dogshit, and to add insult to injury, Steve Danuser and his writing team had the nerve to drag previous lore down by trying to forcibly retcon the Jailer into being behind every single major lore event since Warcraft III, and then were too arrogant and lacking in self-awareness to wonder why people got pissed off and left in the first place.
In this, I feel that the devs still haven't learned the lesson since they are doubling down on the garbage ass Sylvanas story and insisting that they can resolve it in a way that'll feel satisfactory.

  9. While I'm not necessarily hopeful, I am curious to see what being consumed by Microsoft does, though we might not see too much change right away. MS will gradually re-org the teams till there's only those they like, possibly poach some of the artist team for other XBOX content. I would be surprised if more 20% of Blizzard's workforce still works at Microsoft in 3-4 years.
