  1. Only morons want to keep the game OG. Anyone with any braincells knows that this is a huge improvement. The game would of been dead years ago if not for the improvements… if you want to experience wow as it was go play 1 of the many OG custom servers or play classic.

  2. true but issue about wow isnt leveling fast. blizzard added ilvl and time on dungeons(mytics)… pple dont play game to chill out anymore.. they are just racing. back in day most of comunity dont care about classes dont care about meta..today hard to get a mytic 7-10 spot if u are playing b tier class. last night my friend kicked from normal dungeon while leveling because he dont have volley talent as mm hunter. today wow comunity just toxic and most of those toxic player even dont know how play game. they are playing wow because they mostly couldent achive anything on their real life. Thats why they become mmo bully. Also there is another type of toxic player ; Internet whore. they just read forums and watch the top 10 players on youtube after that they belive they can judge your gameplay. Also they play sucks. As tank they always overpull, as dps they dont run away from aoes, they dont use their defensive cds and they dont heal them self when healer have issue(could be in cc,or tank taking big damage ext) then they blame the healer because they belive they play like that top 10 players. Playing game should be funny not stresfull.

  3. Hey brother man, that's a very true statement and we talked about it on stream.

It's weird, but true. Players don't have the time anymore. It's a faster world now.

I still stick with Cata classic, just knowing I have plenty of time doing it on the weekends.

  4. Those of us that played in vanilla/tbc/wrath are in our 30’s and 40’s now with careers and families now. People want to play the end game stuff and because we aren’t able to spend all day gaming we want the small amount of time we are able to play to feel meaningful and impactful.

  5. midtwenty no problem, just job and wow, then the gf comes in, suddenly no more 5 hours a day or more to play, then another game gets your interest too, suddenly you are trapped inbetween dailies, another game, gf, and two raids a week and start complaining about the time you got to do things in the game you don't want to do.

  6. I do enjoy the changes in pace due to being a family man now. It works so much better for me now. I’ll never forget the good old days though. When vanilla wow was new and we were figuring everything out as a new adventure.

  7. so classic players cant crap on retail players but retail players feel no ways abt shitting on the opinions of classic players regularly
just admit yall dont like mmos anymore u want a game u can solo play for an hr or 2 a day not an mmo that requires effort, time, and working together with other players.
i gave retail another chance and it was fine but thats it its fine, the community feels dead i ran like 10 heroics and a few mythics and i dont think a word was typed in party chat… people legit ignoring my msgs too lmfao

  8. Wow is probably the greatest game when it comes to catering to more than one fan group. You want the ultimste leveling experience ? Go play Hardcore. You want to take leveling slow and live the story without loosing your char upon death ? Play normal classic. You want to try out a bit faster leveling but not as fast as retail ? Try cata classic. Wanna have fun with a different twist to classic ? Play SoD. Wanna just go through levels for endgame stuff ? Play retail.

  9. MMORPGs were made to bring fantasy D&D like adventures alive, interactive.

So their very purpose is to provide adventure. Which in the world of fantasy often comes with rewards. Combat etc.
Have to have some kind of carrot on a stick. Besides just exploring.

Point being, they are meant to be slow and time consuming. It’s about the adventure, not the finish line.
But, the customer has spoken and they had no choice but to streamline everything. Even though they shouldn’t.
You want instant gratification? MMORPGs are not meant for you. That’s just my opinion.

So you want every the person with 500hrs in the game has, but you only have 60hrs in?
You only have 4 hrs to play, they have 12… ok? You will still gain all they have it’ll just take you longer… that’s the damn point. Everyone will have their own journey.
But all anyone cares about is a free pass to the next adventure, then complain cause they are bored? Really?

  10. Classic showed that people still like/have the time. However, there is only so much content there… so it does have an end. Retail is great for some, but I would argue it isn't even an MMORPG… it is its own genre that some folks enjoy.
