Undercity is no longer going to be UNDERcity as the forsaken no longer plan to live in the sewers so very likely we will be seeing a new capital built. Dalaran could be returning back to the ground as it is right where it needs to be for the void invasion. With Silvermoon being completely rebuilt from scratch if the Amani become playable we could be seeing Zul’Aman as an actual playable city.

A long side this we could be seeing significant changes all over Azeroth, from Stromgarde becoming playable, Gilneas actually being rebuilt, goblins getting Undermine and finally after all this time gnomes actually reclaiming Gnomeregan and having a place to call home. So what cities will certainly get updated in the saga and what others are very highly likely get a significant update?

  1. The only issue is, capital cities don’t really serve as populated hubs. They’re literally ghost towns. Now if we had hearthstone/hearthstones that work similar to mage portals, that would be nice.

  2. Also what would making player housing fantastic is if we had hearths to our houses with only 10 min cooldowns. Never have to worry about saving your hearth for those quick lower mythic runs and it will always give you a place to port to. To get to the auction house quickly, banks, professions, etc. also a personal bank stash linked to all alts.

Additionally you could even do things like save as many transmogs as you want in the wardrobe. Man the possibilities are endless

  3. I know that mag'har orcs just live in orgrimmar with other orcs but it would be cool if they had some kinda of a big iron horde type establishment somewhere in durotar

  4. if they ever use dalaran again they better optimize it heavily, it's laggggy, it was in wrath and it was in Legion. it should not take like 40 seconds to load the city on hearth with an SSD and a 5yr old computer.
people with older PC's (like 10 years old) it can take like 1.5-2mins to load after zoning in. (and for the people saying "get a new computer" there are people playing wow today with the best, brand new top of the line PC who still take about a minute to load the zone in spot for dalaran)

  5. Def. not clicking your channel anymore. I'm sure you'll be fine though. But yeah, title very obviously worded to appear as if some big news dropped with those specific city revamps being confirmed- actually some dude speculating. Just lost a viewer. Don't be that guy.

  6. i still say it was a missed oppertunity for alliance to take back lordaeon back in bfa acting like they giving us back gilnaes like get ur undead asses out of here but i would love to see stratholme come back and stormgaurd become baseline and playable with stuff to do in them

  7. Shadowlands grinding did me in. Have not touched WoW since then. Even though Dragonflight looked good.

But the lore of Warcraft/WoW has always fascinated me(not so much the constant retcon and strange lore chooises but the world and the people within it) so checking up videos like these is always fun for me even though I don't play anymore I can still follow the world evolve.

Just maybe if we ever get a standalone game set in that universe I might return.

Like say a rts Warcraft 4 with new heroes in maybe in a new area to build up new heroes and villains and future storylines in WoW like WC3 did?

Or a rpg in the style of witcher a gritty darker tone Warcraft game.

We know both Warcraft and WoW could be very gory and gritty in the past atleast.

Those are just dreams ofcourse but that could make me return if they somehow made it.

Imagine walking through our favourite zones but in proper scale.
