  1. I am interested to see how the DH 4-set works because there is a conduit that increases the damage of immo aura everytime it ticks. If it is always up, hypothetically speaking this would not stop until immo aura drops. I assume they will have some form of cap to prevent it from getting too high. There is also a talent that makes immo aura increase your armor by 20% and cause 5% attack power damage to melee attackers. If it stays this way it should be pretty powerful. And yeah any extra souls just get automatically consumed.

  2. Man they fucked brewmaster so hard this xpansion . I main one and i had high hopes when i started playing one in 9.0. Well its time to change to prot pally or blood dk.Cant belive how bad the Tier Set for brew is

I agree with you on that the set bonus for prot warrior is more offensively oriented than defense. 50% increased ignore pain is basically worthless so 99% of the time you wanna use the empower Thunderclap or shieldslam. Anger management does reduces cd of avatar from 1.5min down to around 45 seconds, so anger management might make a comeback!

  4. im just worried the vdh is gonna end up getting a bunch of their stuff changed bcs it could end up beeing just too insane…kyrian leggo + sigil cdr leggo interaction could be way to insane…and the infinite imolation aura is gonna do too much damage if it has the same cap as in torghast…something is gonna end up beeing gutted completly

  5. The arcane mage set bonus is actually good for what it is. For kyrian arcane mage than any other. That with radiant spark + maxed conduit + mikinakos soulbind for its damage bonus will be fine. Although, the covenant legendary is a different story since… it sucks.

  6. Yes the fragments auto consume(possibly wasting them) and also if ur near an object they get consumed. There is a dmg cap on immo aura and its not as big as ppl think it is, thats y u need the 100% immo aura dmg powers in torghast to make grim tinder(the immo reset power) great. we need defense so we dont get literally 1 shot outside of cds in a 20 not more dmg. VDH in 9.1.5 finally got 6-8 diferrent covenant / lego / talent builds then could viably play and then 2 weeks later this happens its just so frustrating. Kyrian has been over 20% better for the entire expac and that seemingly goes against their entire philosophy. I just dont understand why this is their set. on a VERY important side note: theres a few main issues here also with how it effects vdh playstyle. 1. i hope there is some kind of if aura=found macro so u cant override immo aura by repressing it because that resets the stacking dmg conduit. 2. this removes immo from our rotation and kills a main talent called fallout that spawns fragments on activation which almost certainly kills spirit bomb in serious content(most ppls pref playstyle). 3. this also has the side effect of killing chains and forcing quickened sigils so u have max immo aura uptime which again is rediculous. 4. and id like to think mostly IMPORTANTLY is that with all this said i want to list all the things we should never press if we want to play "well" (Immo aura) (Fear sigil) (Silence sigil) (Flame sigil) (Chains sigil). Making a classes optimal playstyle force a lack of use of not only a main rotational ability but also all of they utility IMO is piss poor game design and i dont think anyone who made these changes play a VDH at or above a +15 level oreven understand the issues they have right now. Rant over =(

  7. Anger management does lower the cd of avatar for prot warriors, every 10 rage spent reduces the cooldown of avatar and shieldwall by 1 sec. and prot warrior rage spenders range between 20-40 rage so they should be able to get their outburst stacks pretty quick.

  8. Loving the WindWalker ones. Sure it makes our niche as AoE burst even better but it also feeds into our ST burst as well, especially for Venthyr, and how I play. From how I read this, I can probably get this to happen reliably about twice per minute, meaning that I can count on it being up during every single burst window. Right now that is a problem because of the CD for the Venthyr ability being 3 minutes and Xuen (who remember repeats all the damage we do at a reduced amount of course every 6 seconds over its 24 second duration) being every 2 minutes. With the Venthyr Leggo though, all I need is 12 crits of any kind in a two minute window and my covenant ability (which is also made more effective by having an extra tiger adept spawn) lines up perfectly with Xuen. Heres where the fun begins. Xuen, Fallen order, and SEF are not in and of themselves damaging abilitiesm so when the four piece ptocs if those abilities are not up I can use them then immediately RSK FoF and then WDP All empowered by not only the tier set but being echo'd by Xuen and empowered by my mastered and the hit combo talent for a massive burst of damage and depending on the interactions I might even get a second round off before the 24 seconds of Xuen expires. Especially because the leggo all WWs use already gives us a "Mini lust" every time we summon a celestial (Right now I can sometimes get my haste near or over 100% inside a burst window with real lust being used. And while most WWs eschew haste, it's because the breakpoints for it to be REALLY good are so high it would drain all our other stats well I think you can see where I am going with this…).

    Just like for you and how you play your blood DK, this plays into how I play my WW, and that's not even to say about what it will do for the more common AoE necro build. (Which is somewhat reliant on procs and makes our mastery bonus less important than in single Target.) This is going to be a fun tier for sure for sure.

  9. Prot paladin set is gonna turn paladins into a gun machine and yes judgment do give holy power + 25% increase dmg to the target that get hit by it shit gonna be bananas lol also that set gonna push block to 70% nearly unkillble

  10. Sub rogue is actually bonkers HAHAHA. The double legendary is going to make for a lot of interesting builds. I can imagine the rogue discord talking about akaaris soul fragment legendary as the best possible ST Lego, because it procs a second shadow strike 2 seconds later. Would be interesting if that now procs the 2 set tier bonus…. Which would mean crazy shadowblades uptime. First thing I’ll test in PTR is that. But tier 4 is actually broken.. they’ll nerf that to the ground in due time

  11. Venthyr Prot Warrior is going to be the strongest raid tank. You’ll condemn to spend your rage – which basically creates an ignore pain on the boss. Then you’ll build up stacks for heavy shield slams. Then with the Venthyr legendary you’ll be able to keep up last stand for the first and last 20% of the fight.

    Plus the interaction with that stacking buff makes warrior the most interesting tank to play.

    Warrior isn’t so much about being all offense, rather it’s the tank that has the most trade off between whether you’ll use your rage for offense or defense.

    And really they can’t add a ton more defense to warriors because they are already close to immortal in a lot of content.

    Brewmaster is actually a heavy offensive buff on the 4 piece but ONLY for necrolord. Bonedust Brew cool down is decreased the same as the rest of your brews with keg smash and tiger palm so it tends to be available every 30s, with the 4 set you’ll be looking at 100% uptime.

  12. Exciting! I keep wanting to reduce and just play one class/spec because lack of time but all these different sets make me want to play more… hard to pick out main for 9.2
