WoW’s NEXT Expansion Leaked? And then the NEXT one? AND THEN THE NEXT ONE?!?!

Today we venture into the mind of a very special player, who claims to have the knowledge of Blizzard’s WoW Expansions’ Plans up to several years in the future.
This same Nostradamus has already correctly predicted Battle for Azeroth as the 8.0 Expansion as well as Shadowlands as the 9.0 Expansion with the Jailer as the big bad enemy, YEARS before Shadowlands was even announced.
He claims to already know about 10.0’s Expansion as well as what will come after, in 11.0

Is he a Prophet? A time traveler? A very well connected whistleblower?
Or is he just lucky?

  1. China is so strict with what media is allowed into their country, it wouldn’t surprise me if he knows someone in the censor office of the CCP who’s seeing the approval process from Blizzard months if not years before the government gives it the go ahead. They’d have to get approval from that market before even starting on the main story outline. Look at all the western films they’ve banned based on paranormal subject matter, ghosts etc.

  2. The chinese has a way to predict the future via I-Ching… a cycle of 12 and 8s… for example the previous cycle to COVID was the Spanish Flu which also killed off millions of people around the globe… but serious Companies do control leaks just to test out the audience reaction prior to releasing the product and also to produce hype. WoTC leaks cards all the time and Blizzard is doing the same to see if we react positively to the next expansion to either do a 180 if thing don't go well and also to get people hyped about the next expansion…

  3. Dragons and elementals would be very cool imo. I would also like to see some progress finally on fixing what was broken during cataclysm. How long are they going to keep building up the fortifications in Westfall?? Seriously…

  4. Very interesting predictions. I would rather have the next expansion mostly focus on a dragon conflict with some elemental side-plots though, because I'm not sure there is enough meat to flesh out an expansion solely based on elementals.

  5. So the mysterious guy thinks the new xpac themes get taken out of the previous xpacs in the same order🧐
So after MOP lore there will be 2 lines from WOD and after that 2 lines of Legion (what I would guess is something with Light & Void).
Looks like a system to me

  6. blizzard plans atleast the general theme of expansions beforehand
in legion they already knew shadowlands will be an expansion and were hinting at it here and there
perfectly possible he had insider information instead of being a taoist priest with magical powers

  7. just hope they remove the "broken borowed powers", since after wod they started pushing it and making the game, less skill, more reaction time at least for PVP, if there were no borrowed power as Covenants for this expansion, the PvP would have been a bit more balanced and would make the game actually learnable, instead of getting dropped in 2 sec if you dont react in the first 199miliseconds

  8. Lore doesn't matter in the slightest, MoP was proof of that being far better than Cata which had much stronger lore. All that matters is they nail the systems, gear progression, and aesthetics.

  9. So happy Izen cover this post. It's actually a wildly influential post in the Chinese forum. It's more like a well-informed storyline prediction rather than a leak. Was wondering how Izen knew about this post though.
