World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic:
In March 2020, Blizzard surveyed Classic players about their interest in a Classic Burning Crusade game. After positive responses, it was confirmed in February 2021 and became available for download in late May, leading to its release on June 1.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic:
In April 2022, Blizzard announced Wrath of the Lich King Classic, set for release later in the year. A trailer released on July 25 confirmed the release date as September 26. The developers aimed for minimal changes, preserving the original game’s feel. Notably, the Dungeon Finder tool was omitted in favor of a bulletin board system to promote social interaction.

At launch, Blizzard introduced “Joyous Journeys,” a limited-time 50% experience buff for new and returning players. Significant changes included allowing immediate creation of Death Knight characters on any server, later adjusted to combat abuse by bots. The first content phase saw increased difficulty in the Naxxramas raid.

The second phase brought significant changes, introducing a “Heroic+” difficulty reminiscent of later expansions’ Mythic and Mythic+ Dungeons. Cosmetic changes included baseline recustomization options and the addition of paid Race Change and Faction Change features.

The “WoW Token” became available for Wrath of the Lich King Classic players on May 23, 2023. Phase 3 launched on June 20, 2023, adding new content and a “Heroic” difficulty for raiding.

The fourth phase, released on October 10, 2023, introduced the Icecrown Citadel raid, the Random Dungeon Finder, and the Pets and Collections systems.

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight:
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, announced in April 2022 and released on November 28, 2022, is the ninth expansion following Shadowlands. Set in the Dragon Isles, it features five zones, with the Dracthyr as a new playable race and the Evoker as a new class. Evokers are exclusive to the Dracthyr, with three specializations. The expansion raised the level cap to 70, revamped the UI and talent tree systems, and introduced Dragonriding, allowing players to customize and use dragons in a momentum-based flight system from the start of the expansion. The game also revamped the profession system, allowing players to place work orders for item creation.

Burning Crusade Classic: 15/10
Wrath of the Lich King Classic: 20/10
Dragonflight: 8.5/10
