Read more about Shadowlands ➜ https://worldofwarcraft.mgn.tv

After my initial reactions I sat down to read up on the specifics of what’s coming in Shadowlands patch 9.1.5. What does it mean to me as a player? How might my behavior change? And what sorts of questions should be answered during the testing phase?
We get into that, Overwatch and McCree, and more!

  1. imagin having so little going on that you care what npc has what name and is based of whom… i could not care less, put the effort of "cleaning up" the npc refferences into actually improoving the game? this is just insane virute signaling and pandering to twitter snowflakes

  2. remember the swifty npcs remove, is no the first time but this time is a internal problem. for my mcree is matt mercer, he give life to the character…timewalk M+ is just a bad idea; they need to stop earing the dumb ideas from this people that make money from that content and start listen the player that pay for playing the WOW content. the hearthstone mercenary adventures are more epic that the current wow experience; that say the state of the game.BTW skip 14:21 for you FFXV comments sorry but no sorry

  3. Blizzard: You know all those pain points the players hate and tell us about every expansion but we leave in anyway? Well, a lot of players are leaving the game, so maybe we should get rid of some of those pain points and make our game more enjoyable? 😆

  4. If Blizzard was smart, in 10.0 whatever goofy systems they force players to do they will make all the bar filling account wide, and leave off the laughable 'meaningful choices'.

  5. It was so mind-numbingly stupid to name characters in your games after your employees. Personally I would leave McCree named McCree. Leave it as a reminder to yourself of what not to do OR send out a short poll question to all your OverWatch players and let THEM vote if the name should be changed. (1) I would be shocked if most OverWatch players even knew it was named after someone in the company. (2) if you just can't leave the name alone you put out ONE short blog post saying what the new name is and never mention it again. I don't want a series of blog posts where Blizzard is virtue signaling. And don't make this some sort of name the character contest! Don't take your horrible mistake and try to turn it into a PR win.

  6. I think these are good changes. Unfortunately, the major problem I have with the game is insufficient open world content. I don't expect a great deal of this type of content in a .5 patch, but I don't think I'll be returning to the game until i see a significant content release.

  7. Look, changes based on player feedback look great! But yeah should have been there on launch and it’s not promising to me that it took the collapse of their game and company to actually act on player feedback. I probably won’t re-sub I need more regular polished content to justify a subscription to something not a beta test once every 8 months.

  8. This doesn't mean that much to me. Looking at Legion or BfA, this is the same strategy that was applied then. They just bring in broken systems, people test it on PTR, explain what should be fixed, Blizzard ignores them for a year, then implements SOME of the suggested changes and enjoys the addicted people praise the mighty Blizzard for the changes.

PvP gearing is still not in line with WoD / MoP gearing system, which was absolutely perfect, KSM was account wide in S1, they took it away, now every alt needs to hit 2k score to upgrade M+ items, Korthia currency grind is INSANE, you will probably have a higher ilvl through M+ in the same amount of time AND Korthia items are still random despite in Legion or BfA such catch up gear could be purchased for the slot you were missing etc. etc. the list just goes on.

In 9.2.5 they will make KSM account wide and perhaps make it easier gear through Korthia and again we will have WoW addicts praising the almighty Blizzard for the changes.

All in all; nothing to be excited about and there is absolutely nothing to praise there.

  9. Baiting with a carrot on a stick.
People were asking for this change ever since alpha.

Give it one more patch before they remove the max renown requirement for covenant swapping, and another to remove everyting with 10.0

  10. Lol I like that you mentioned ignoring the twisting corridors. I’m a Druid, right, and I never have completed a single floor in there. I haven’t had the need to.

  11. I get why ppl would like t ship the Maw intro but some act like its the worst quest line ever in game . I dont mind it and i have a 50 plus army of alts i run. Its almost an entire level of XP and IMO its just like running the same WQ for the 20ths time or running the epic story line for the 20th time. But i guess options can be a good thing

  12. I feel like its a risk naming your characters after employees. But its also part of the soul of the game, putting yourself (as a dev) into the game feels like a its more personal. I guess the game no longer is a small personal game any more but thats more of a shame than anything else

  13. Good changes. You talked about forethought. I want them to show forethought in future patches before I decide to come back. I’m not playing anything mmo related right now. I miss WoW, but I’m not ready to spend money for subscription time again

  14. I'm OK with them changing the NPC names (and naming policy). It was probably cathartic for the devs, and gives them some sense of control in the midst of the shitstorm, however small. That being said, I wasn't aware of the naming connections and didn't personally care before OR after the lawsuit whether they changed the names. It's just not the kind of thing I get wound up about. The harrassment, etc., yes. The names of some NPCs? Nah.

  15. Too little, too late, Blizz.
9.1.5; everything that should have been in Shadowlands at launch but wasn’t despite how often it was suggested.

Unsubbing you though, man. Find another game. You’re videos are feeling like they’re circling the drain just like Shadowlands.
