Just yesterday Blizzard released the announcement of 9.2 named Eternity’s End and they in a way confirmed that this will be the finale of the Shadowlands saga.

As we go into Zereth Mortis and the sepulcher everything should come to a conclusion in 9.2. Despite Shadowlands being rushed in only 2 patches, is this ultimately a good thing. Is it time to just wrap this Shadowlands stuff up and return to Azeroth?

  2. why make an expansion about the shadowlands when you are gonna cut content later and say we gonna go back to azeroth sooner rather then later ? Like we just had an expansion on azeroth with bfa like wtf are they talking about? this is all just a pr move to get people hyped again for something new so they can pay blizzard $$$$$$$ for the new hyped up expansion that is only going to get 1 worthwile patch??? Fuck this im done with these half assed expansions. This game is dead. IF you start something then atleast finish it the right way instead of constantly looking at numbers $$$$

  3. This expansion was a shit show blizzard should be embarrassed in every way. Atleast bfa had a variety of content. But shadowlands is an epic fail we got nothing we wanted we got nothing that they hinted at and now it's just over. Absolute bullshit this whole expansion has been a waste and all who bought this expansion should get a full refund. I hate to say it and it breaks my heart and soul but WoW will never ever get better until they get rid of there dipshit dev's and exec's also get rid of ion he is self entitled, arrogant wanna be elite and in all of his interviews you can tell he thinks his shit dont stink. We didn't get arthas, varian, gavinrad the dire, lothar, where is garrosh hellscream, daelin proudmoore, cairne bloodhoof, fandral staghelm. So much could of been done with this expansion and lore wise had monumental potential but they just did a 100% terrible job.

  4. I’m ready for the next expansion. Hopefully it takes us back to Azeroth or maybe Draenor. The afterlife is lacking. No day/night cycles. No ocean. Time seems to stand still in the Shadowlands and feels lifeless, no pun intended.

  5. I knew when we gained a title in WoD that there was no putting that back in the box. We could never be a wandering monk or a nameless soldier on a battlefield again. I think it was honestly one of the biggest nails in the coffin for me. I was planning on quitting after Legion but, at the outset, BFA looked like a return to the old form and I gave it a try. And SL was so much worse. I remember thinking that well never have a troll raid again, well never have a relatively minor D&D tier issue to deal with, hell, even in 5 mans we fight gods. Wow feels like being a Goku in a sea of Gokus going around the universe killing gods and man, that's just not it.

Sorry for the wall of text

  6. You know that quote by Ogmoth or whoever "Not the last, but the first!"
I'll bet my left nut that the story will be how everyone predicted: Azeroth is actually a first one, and Zereth Mortis is somewhere on Azeroth (or inside of Azeroth).
When the Jailor says "Death is coming for the soul of you world", and the fight with him will be at the Sepulcher (resting place) of the First Ones…. Yeah, Azeroth (the planet) is the resting place for Azeroth (the First One), which is Zereth Mortis as well.
But everything of this was predicted by a million people ages ago, it's nothing special now…

  7. syl is without armor when you see the group confront Anduin… she is a prisoner.. wonder if she finally dies there because redemption seems boring at this point. Unless they make her tortured forever 😀

  8. lets be honest, WOW fans were unable to accept a new story and a new set of characters.. "give us things we know" but if they did fans would just say they are reusing storylines.. they really couldnt win this one. I like the cosmic setting, Zovaal is a great idea and it all depends on how they finish it. The syl story line was atrocious and Elune/Tryrande as well.. but i was always interested in Zovaal they just need to stop doing huge cliff hangers and give us more meat.

  9. Maybe… just maybe the Jailer wins on this patch and he resets the reality cuz I do not thing of some other way to decrease the level of power that we, the champions, have reached. We could not be common mortals if according to the lore, we have defeated gods.
Maybe the "you are the choosen one, the great champion" went to far for Blizzard and they didnt even think about the coherence on the power level scale.

  10. Blizzard must have really gone off the chart to think they could make a new expansion after Shadowlands, because so many of us have turned our backs on them for their arrogance.
Now, after we get done with Shadowlands, we now must fight Turalyon and Y'rel and the Army of the Light, which isn't my ultimate concern. It's the WoW writing team that scares me.

  11. The most outrageous thing that this Activision-Blizzard has done was to piss all over the work done by old-Blizz and old creators.
With the new retcons, basically, the new Blizz told us this:
"You know everything you love about Warcraft and Wow? Yes, well, we are going to throw it all in the toilet so, like us now, please."
