  1. the ridiculous damage is why I quit wow.. as a healer getting globalled in 1 second was a joke, back in the day a good healer was someone who could juke/fake cast… that is no longer a thing in shadowlands because you get globalled … pvp is just stupid now

  2. nah, pvp is trash since cata, just remember 2v2 bdk and holy shock, meh
    in my memory, the most balanced pvp was in S7…
    the main idea of pvp was to outsmart your opponent with the pros and cons of your class ( eg kiting arms as unholy dk etc)
    and now it's just press x to win…

Sorry but wow is not the thing that used to be ye ofc old xpacs got broken things too but still wasnt like now also do anybody remember that word called skill ? sadly not exist anymore thoose guys at blizzard instead build a house with bricks they literally make a backyard toiled with them shadowlands is cool fancy cartooned nice to look but is dead inside

  4. I'm glad I could Spinning Crane Kick for this awesome video. Modifiers are definitely a big problem with output nowadays. For many classes, even simply attacking without all of them up is not worth it when you could just run away/stall and wait until you can use said modifiers again, and I believe that should be viewed as an issue as well. Few matchups are based on pressure anymore and are just all about cooldown trades or who oneshots who eventually.

Just about every melee class has a 1 shot combo I really feel bad for my range buddies many have quit this season it's just completely dominated by melee and non of my friends wanna hop on the melee wagon it sucks because those are my partners cause now even I wanna quit this season… even if I play the broken classes like Ret/Monk/Druid/Rogue PvP is not fun without my buddies =/.

    I'd just like to say that (I think) I want the matches to be shorter and burstier. If we go by the options: die in seconds vs. everyone is unkillable at least.
    The problem with WoW PvP is 100% how hard (I'd say impossible) it is to get into it. There are barriers for complete newbs, barriers for moderately skilled players and barriers for try-hard players just outside of the "cool kids circle" at the top. And these barriers are basically completely invisible, hidden, hard to grasp or whatever you'd call it. It's all obscure math!

    And it all boils down to tracking a billion things the standard UI does not show in any way, making a hundred macros and keybinds to be able to react to this, knowing every single class/spec/talent/buff/spell/modifier-combination in the game… and at the very top end, basically engineering university level math scripts to be able to plan and counter all this. Many people say knowing all this comes from 15 years of experience. Well that is just too much – period. I played for that long, but not PvP every single day. And I want to play a fun game, not an e-sports.

    So even if you wanna let these e-sports veterans battle it out in the AWC for entertainment/competition (which is fine), don't let it ever affect the design of the game for any player who is in between the ratings of 0-2400.
    And stop the boosting. It's the outcome of this design, and it's ruining the game!

  8. I think overall the damage is fine. I would however nerf some obviously op specs like ww, warrior and mage.
    And mage damage is also fine, its just way to tanky and forgiving to play, same goes for feral and bm.

  9. As someone brand new to pushing rated PvP in Shadowlands this meta and these PvP systems are INFURIATING.

    I'm sick of matching into obvious WoW token boosties in duelist gear that global me with no setup having no god damn clue what they are doing.
    I'm sick of matching into higher geared people in the bracket above me and only getting 10 points for beating them.
    I'm sick of oneshots.
    I'm sick of losing super close games to a gear check.

    Make gear even like in Warlords, tone burst down, balance classes and covenants better.

  10. A lot of people in this comment section are complaining but I will take this meta every single day instead of Legion or BFA where arenas would never finish before dampening. I don't remember anything worse than BFA Mage Lock dampening meta with 20 minute games where you do nothing.

    (The point of the comment is not to say there are not big problems with the meta but it's definitelly not the worst meta ever like some comments make it out to be.)

  11. One thing to add is that primary stat this expansion is contributing ALOT to overall dps. In the past secondaries were important but not so much now. Vers seems kinda useless and generally whoever has more ilvl wins.
