I personally enjoy long videos, just fyi. Lots of people probably don’t so yeah.
Enchanting used to be my go-to in the beginning of my goldmaking. Nobody wanted to bother because you have to click each enchant. I can’t afk craft this at all but thankfully that’s fixed in DF.
After I got the rest of my alts leveled and the other professons up, I rarely messed with enchants because of the clicking. I’d do twenty of the ones that sold though because the margins/sale rate was great.
Now that 9.2.7 is out, I quickly realized that it would be a huge waste of time. I had like 6k sacred shards, 1k eternal crystals, and a ton of dust. It all sold within the hour lol which was nice.
I’ll have to get the woolies. I see most female mogs use those. A list of specific old world items worth working towards would be a great video for me.

Penguin I've found another spreadsheet (can't remember the content creator) that says that the best shuffle as far as gold per hour goes is LW with Desolate scale treads. Can it be so? It works on EU market….
Great video!!! Based purely on the old world potential and the state of the glyph market when the AH change took place, I would slot Enchanting higher than Inscription. That might just be personal preference, or that I haven't looked at the glyph market since the AH change (it was the mother of all dumpster fires right after the switch, and the glyphs I have still aren't profitable again). And I'm still a little embarrassed that Engineering was one of my primary professions when I first started getting into goldmaking (not a defense, but I did sell a few Life Inverters back in the day). lol
I found Penguin's content after I leveled up all my SL professions. So although I am not a person choosing which professions to have or not have I can 100% agree with Penguin's analysis and explanation on benefits for each profession.
I personally have been seeing the most volume of sales from my 4 armor professions. I am on a high population server so I sell between 50-200 pieces of armor a day. Almost all of them for at least 100g profit. Many of the pieces actually sell for 1,000g profit.
My advice to beginner out there is start doing it today and in 3 months (the amount of time I have been gold making) you will be making about 250k profit per week 🙂
Hey 🙂 It is probably too early right now, but I think a video of recommended professions for DF would be appreciated by us all. Something where you predict, what professions will be worth to get for the expansion short and long term perhabs! 🙂
Hey. Very nice video. I am alchemy, but i don't know what old World transmut is profitable for gold. All transmut have no profit. Can you explain please? I only mass craft shadowland pots
