  1. Group finder + Instant teleportation + Cross server = Fostering a very toxic mentality where people become replaceable and players are not held accountable for negative actions.

I also believe that flying mounts removed peoples attachment from the world, and contributed to this.

Of course there are vast amounts of other issues, such as gearscore and achievement linking, but I strongly believe those those factors harmed the mentality of players.

Great video. (Give us Classic (Vanilla) Plus!)

  2. 100% agree. Still playing retail until this day,but im one of the few who didnt change that much(and ist not easy)..i did less then 20 M+ in my whole life and kick ppl from our guild who use RaiderIO and Warcraft Logs.
I have a good feeling about TWW so far,but Blizz maybe should use this Expansion to pave a road and erase M+,E-Sport,all exept 2 PVE difficulties and the Server Merge finally from the game…
why dont they listen to their customers who spent 20 years in their products? Dont they see that all these changes made from MOP upwards are the source of the customer decline?

  3. Please just let people enjoy their hobby dude. Literally the last thing I need is a clickbait thumbnail in my feed about how a game I enjoy every day actually sucks. If you don't like the game anymore, just make videos about something else. Or…if you actually care so much about the game you feel you need to critique it, don't use lame clickbait tactics to farm engagement. It undercuts whatever message you have, and you end up with stuff like this in your comments.

  4. The min/maxing is what ultimately turned me away from WoW classic. Coming from Everquest, when WoW launched back in 2004, the players I played with were of like mind. I don't know what happened but the current population on the wow classic era servers, is not the population that I have any desire to play with!

  5. Race to worlds first was in vanilla…. it started with AQ40… its always been apart of the game. Now its just seems like everyone is like that because of content creators and parasocial relationships that spawned from it

  6. Evolve means to improve over time. Where has this happened with the so-called “community” in WoW? The only community that exists are the bootlickers who follow streamers hoping that they will get a crumb of attention. Guildless, solo and silent is the only way to enjoy this game. Thank god for LFG and LFR.

  7. Back in 2005 raiding MC… we did know the mechanics lol. Everyone had to be prepared and people min maxed. I think in glorifying the past in this way you leave some facts that are impressive in their own right. There was no MMO like WoW at the time. The game was miles ahead any other mmo in the market. It cannot be understated the just how rewarding and approachable the game was. Think of the fact that this is a time when online multiplayer in consoles was just starting to take off. The social aspect alone was enough to keep players mesmerized.
